Chapter 58 - Watching

Third Person's P.O.V.

The next day, Tenma just sat with the managers in the benches while watching his teammates practice. He's not allowed to play for now since yesterday was his fourth time to practice with in the week. He doesn't complain about it because it is for his safety and health. While tenma was busy watching practice, his eyes kept on landing on Tsurugi. He always smiles whenever their eyes meet and whenever Tsurugi smiles at him. He feels like his love for Tsurugi is rapidly growing each and every day. Tsurugi is also the one who always accompany him from going to school and going home since Tsurugi lived, like, four blocks away from Tenma.

Te day passed by fast, practice was finally over but coach Endou had an announcement to make so everyone was still their with the managers. "Alright, minna, we all know that the FFI is almost near so I want all of you to take care of yourselves, although, not all of you can come. I will not be the one to pick who the representatives are. The FFI productions will. So do your best to get picked. They already picked three of you and their already permanent, that means no one must replace tem. Te three are Tsurugi Kyousuke, Matsukaze Tenma, and Shindou Takuto. That's all. Go home and sleep well" Endou announced to all of tem. They all nodded in response, meaning they understood. "Tsurugi, take Tenma home. Be careful" Endou said looking at Tsurugi. "Hai" Tsurugi said ten grabbed his things then went to Tenma.

Tenma noticed Tsurugi walking to im to he looked at him ten smiled. "Ready to go?" Tsurugi asked when he already in front of the brunette. Tenma nodded. "Yup!" answered Tenma with his usual cheery smile. He grabbed his bag but Tsurugistopped him. "Let me carry it" Tsurugi said as he took Tenma's bag from him. "It's fine, Kyousuke" Tenma said, calling Tsurugi by his first name. Tsurugi didn't mind, he just smiled at it. "No, it's fine, Tenma. I got it" Tsurugi said then sling Tenma's bag to his before Tenma could protest for the second time. Tenma just sighed then nodded. They walked home, side by side. Tenma just couldn't help but smile at how close was Tsurugi to him. He feels like the navy-haired boy doesn't want him to get separated from him. "You seem happy, Tenma. May I know why?" Tsurugi suddenly asked out of the blue which surprised Tenma. Tenma looked at him then shook his head. "I'm just excited about the FFI" Tenma simply answered. Tsurugi nodded at this. "Oh yeah, Louis chatted me last night. He wanted me to say 'Hi' to you and to the team. I must've forgotten it earlier" Tenma said while scratching the back of his head. "Well, tell him I said 'Hi' too" Tsurugi stated. Tenma nodded.

After a few more turns, they finally arrived at the apartment. "Tere's practice tomorrow, are you going to watch, Tenma?" Tsurugi asked as he hand Tenma his bag. Tenma thought for a while. "I'll ask okaa-san about it" Tenma answered after he took his bag. "Thanks for carrying my bag, Kyousuke. You know you didn't had to" Tenma said, slightly emberrased. "Like I said, it's fine. Anything for you" Tsurugi said then gave Tenma a gentle smile. Tenma smiled back. "Good night, Kyousuke" Tenma said. "Yeah, good night, Tenma. Sweet dreams" Tsurugi said then kissed Tenma in the cheek wich made the brunette blush. "W-What was that f-for?" Tenma asked, stuttering. "I know that you're still wit Louis but I'm still going to say it. It's because I love you, Tenma" Tsurugi said then smiled. Tenma's eyes softened at this with a mix of confusion.

Tenma's P.O.V.

"I know that you're still wit Louis but I'm still going to say it. It's because I love you, Tenma" Tsurugi said to me which made me happy but confused. 'What now? He loves me but I love Louis too....' I thought to myself. I smiled at him then nodded. "I understand and sweet dreams" I said then walked inside the apartment. I glanced at Tsurugi one last time then smiled at him and he smiled back. After that, I finally went in the apartment.

"Okaa-san! I'm home!" I yelled through the ouse. "Alright, Tenma-kun! I'm making dinner already! Go change now!" I heard my mom's voice from the kitcen. "Hai!" I answered then removed my shoes then ran upstairs to my room. I changed my clothes then went downstairs to eat dinner with okaa-san.
