Chapter 13 - Another Sign?

Third Person's P.O.V.

Mark and Dylan we're again assisted by the med tech nurse to the med tech clinic. Aoi and Midori came with them. Ichinose stayed behind because he can't donate or more likely won't be allowed to donate again because of the accident that happened to him during his childhood. He must remain his blood arise or at normal state. Ichinose went to the couch and sat beside Tenma. Now their sitting position is: Aki, Tenma, and Ichinose. Tenma was between them. Everyone looked at the three of them and has the same thought, 'They look like a perfect family'. Tenma looked at Ichinose confusingly since he hadn't seen him earlier. "Hey, my name's Ichinose Kazuya by the way" Ichinose introduced himself and made his signature salute. Tenma nodded and smiled at him. "Aki-san, is he a friend of yours?" Tenma asked. Aki looked at Tenma then at Ichinose. She was about to answer when Endou suddenly talked. He said, "He's not just a friend of Aki, Tenma. Ichinose here is the boyfriend of your Aki-san"

Tenma nodded at this. "I didn't know that you have a boyfriend, Aki-san" he said while pouting a bit. Aki giggled as she pinched the tip of the young boy gently. "Sorry, Tenma-kun" she said with a smile. Tenma just smiled back. Ichinose saw the relationship of Aki with Tenma. 'They're like a mother and son' Ichinose thought and smiled. "Minna, who's going to take the next shift?" Tenma suddenly asked. Everyone looked at each other and started thinking. "You guys take shifts? On what?" Ichinose asked confused. "We take shifts on who's going to stay here for the night or only up to 7:00 pm, Ichinose-san" Tenma answered with a smile. "Ah, alright. Thanks" Ichinose replied while nodding. "Maybe all of you should" Aki suggested. Everyone looked at her and at each other.

"Yeah! That's a great idea!" Kariya shouted, unaware that he was STILL between Kirino and Shindou. "I sense danger" Shinsuke said and looked at Kariya. They all stared at him and Kariya froze. "Kirino~" Shindou creepily said behind Kariya. Kayiya gulped at Shindou's creepy voice. "Kariya~" Kirino said then karate-chopped his head for shouting. Everyone's eyes widened, well except for Tenma who just giggled a little. "That hurts, Kirino-senpai" Kariya whined. "Then if you don't want another one then I suggest you scream somewhere else" Shindou reminded him while smirking. 'I'm surrounded by Sadists!!!" Kariya shouted in his thought and gulped. All he can do was nod and stay silent. "Maybe Aki-san's right. We can all stay here or, more likely, you guys I mean" Yuuichi said. "But you can stay here too, Yuuichi-san" Akane said.

"I wish I could but you know how strict my personal nurses are sometimes" Yuuichi said while looking at one of his personal nurse beside him. His nurse just smiled and said, "Well, it is for your own good, Yuuichi-san" Everyone nodded. "I know, I know" he replied. "What time is it?" Akane asked. Hikaru looked at his wrist watch, "It's already 7:00 pm, Akane-san" he said to her. "Hikaru, I said just Akane. Don't put –san on the end" Akane said with a smile. Hikaru nodded. "Alright, minna. Go home and get the things you'll be needing for the night" Endou said. "But coach, we already have them in our gym bags" Kirino answered. "Really? You guys are prepared" Endou said and chuckled. Mark and Dylan finally came back from the clinic. They all stayed there for the night except Ichinose, Dylan, Mark, and Aki. Aki let the three American soccer-freak boys stay at her house which also contains apartments. The four of them went to their room in the apartment and said thanks to Aki. Gouenji also went home since Yuuka was probably waiting for him at home. Yuuichi was already taken to his hospital room by his personal nurse, he said that he'll be here first thing in the morning.

Tenma's P.O.V.

It's already passed 10:00 pm. I can't sleep since I just woke up earlier. I walked slowly to Tsurugi's bed side but I have to make sure not to make any noise because everyone is fast asleep. I made it and went to sit on a chair beside Tsurugi. I looked at him, thinking when he'll wake up. October is about to end though. So it's been almost seven months since the battle with Phantom 11. That battle was held on May and he still haven't woken up. I held Tsurugi's hand and I can feel his warmth. 'At least you're alive' I thought. "But when will you wake up?" I muttered under my breath. I closed my eyes for a few minutes since I was tired earlier but I'm not sleepy at all.

"...........T-Tenma..........." I heard a faint voice say. I opened my eyes and looked around. No one's awake though so who would? I quickly looked at Tsurugi expecting that he was awake already but.... He wasn't. I guess he's having a dream or maybe it's another sign but I don't get it. He just kept repeating my name. I can feel my someone holding my hand a little and I looked at it and saw Tsurugi's hand holding into mine. I held it a little tighter. "Tsurugi..... Will you ever wake up?" I asked myself but I know he can't hear me.
