♥ Selena’s POV: ♥

I got inside my car quickly, shutting the car door closed and buckling my seatbelt. I pulled out my phone and searched through my contacts for that one special name that means everything to me. My heart bounced when I stopped at his name and I hesitantly tapped it, dialing his number.

I pressed my phone to my ear and waited patiently until he picked up. That is, if he would pick up. After a while, I was surprised to hear his beautiful voice on the other end.

“Hello?” he breathed through his phone.

I let out a small smile. “Hey Justin, how are you?”

There was a slight pause and I could hear his heavy breathing. I stared up at the road ahead of me, the car engine was off and I sat there in place.

“Who is this?” he finally asked.

“Umm, it’s me.. Selena,” I replied, “I just landed from L.A and I’ve been dying to see you.”

There was another pause at the end of the line and I was growing nervous. Why is it that he’s almost hesitant to talk to me?

“I-…” he began, taking another small pause before finishing, “We’re through, Selena.”

My heart stopped and my eyes widened. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I couldn’t believe he was breaking up with me. Again.

“W-What?” I stuttered. “Why?”

He laughed bitterly, making my stomach churn. “I think you know why.”

That was all he said to me before hanging up. Just like that.

My jaw tightened and I hung up myself, before sliding my phone back into my pocket. I didn’t quite know how I was feeling at the moment.

Probably angry, hatred, sadness and… betrayal? Those seem like appropriate words to describe the situation.

Looks like Justin and Jamie really are back together.

Well, I tried.

I thought that he’d see how much he really loves me if I took the opportunity to show him when he had lost his memory. I thought he could regain his memory and realize how good it felt like to be with me again.

I mean, I know they’re having a baby together but was that all it took for Jamie to steal Justin from me? To think I considered Jamie and Phoebe good friends of mine.

I have to think again.

So Jamie is a backstabbing bitch, and Justin is a cheating douche.
