One Life

Chapter 3

Justin's POV

I arrived at the hotel in Vancouver the night before the first show. I went straight up to my room and lay on the bed. After a while I decided to call my girlfriend, Selena. After a few rings she picked up.

"Hey babe what's up?" She asked.

"Nothing much really just in my hotel room bored off my head. How are you?" I asked.

We talked for a while until someone knocked on my door. I went to answer it and saw that it was Demi. I said goodbye to Selena and smiled at Demi and told her to come in.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Everyone who is part of the tour are meeting upstairs in one of the boardrooms. You're welcome to join us if you'd like to. I understand if you don't" she said.

I smiled. "Of course I would. Just give me a few minutes and I'll be straight up" I said.

"Great" she replied. "It's in boardroom 1 by the way. See you in a few minutes"

After 20 minutes I went up to the boardroom. I was quite nervous to meet everyone. I walked in and was met by someone screaming my name. I turned around to see that it was Camila from Fifth Harmony who was screaming my name. I laughed. Before I joined the tour I looked up each of the support acts to learn about them and I learned that Camila was a proper fangirl. Her reaction was just like I expected.

"Hi" I said.

I gave her a smile and held out my hand for her to shake. Behind her, her other bandmates Ally, Normani and Dinah were coming over to see if she was ok.

"Hi. I'm Justin" I said to them. "Nice to meet you"

"Hi I'm Ally. And these are Normani and Dinah Jane. We have another member but she's no where to be found." Ally said. "I'll go get her"

I smiled. I'm not going to lie the silence between us when Ally left was awkward. I was just about to say something when she returned.

"Justin, this is Lauren. Lauren this is Justin" said Ally.

Lauren smiled at me whilst we shook hands. When I was looking up Fifth Harmony I always found Lauren pretty but by god was she more beautiful in person. I began to have the feeling of butterfly's in my stomach just from being around her. And those eyes were one of the most beautiful things if ever seen.

"I'm quite a fan of your work" I said to the girls.

And I wasn't lying, I really was a fan. There live performances on xfactor were amazing especially there cover of Ellie Gouldings song 'Anything Could Happen'. I'd bought their EP and it was really good.

"Thank you" gushed Camila.

After a few minutes of small talk the girls left and I wandered the room. I met all the people involved in the tour. They were really nice and welcoming. At around 11 pm I decided to go back to my room.

I got ready for bed and then lay down. My mind was racing. I was really confused. Why did I have butterflies in my stomach just by seeing Lauren? I mean I have a girlfriend. I shouldn't be feeling those type of feelings for someone else. I mean I barely knew Lauren. Maybe it was just tiredness?

I turned over to go to sleep. Tomorrow was the first day of the tour. I was nervous about being the Dj. The press had found out about the job and were basically saying my career was over. Well by saying that I was more determined to prove them wrong. I was bound to learn new skills being a DJ. And no doubt I was bound to find inspiration to write some killer songs....
