Chapter 4

Justin's POV

We got the the arena at 12 pm. I hadn't seen the Fifth Harmony girls at breakfast that morning which I was quite relieved about because I was still confused about what I felt for Lauren. I mean if I had a girlfriend I shouldn't be feeling like this over some other girl.

"Hi Justin"

I was pulled out of my thoughts by the girl I was just thinking about. Lauren was standing right in front of me smiling at me, whilst I was standing there dumbstruck.

"Are you ok?" She asked. She obviously could see the dumbstruck look on my face.

"I'm fine" I stuttered. "Just tired" I lied. Well I could hardly say I'm dumbstruck by your beauty could I?

"Oh right" she said. "It's just when you didn't reply I thought I'd done something wrong. I was wondering if you'd be performing tonight actually."

"Nah. I'm just the DJ. I'd rather not perform right now if I'm honest. I'm kind of taking a break" I said. "Anyway I've got to go and set up my equipment, so I'll see you around"

I walked away kicking myself. Why did I stutter talking to her? I never stutter! Man that girl was going to be the death of me. I groaned. Stop feeling this way Justin I told myself.

After I set up the equipment I went to rehearsals to kill some time until the show started. When I walked in Fifth Harmony were rehearsing their song Better Together. I sat down next to Demi to watch them. They sounded really good. Of course I couldn't stop looking at Lauren no matter how hard I tried. She looked amazing dancing and had a killer voice.

"You alright there Justin?" Demi asked.

"Yeah" I sighed. "Just really confused about stuff, that's all. And don't worry I won't let it affect my concentration when I'm DJ'ing tonight"

Demi laughed and I couldn't help but smile. If I'm honest I really wanted to talk to someone about how I was confused about my feelings but Demi was friends with Selena. No doubt she'd tell her. Man I was really frustrated. I walked back to the lounge and bumped into Scooter.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. I was really confused as to why he'd be here.

"I was just looking for you actually. I wanted to wish you luck for tonight and tell you to have fun on the tour" he said.

"Thanks" I said.

"Are you ok?" He asked. "You look off."

"I'm just confused Scooter. I've these weird feelings for Lauren from Fifth Harmony. I mean I've a girlfriend for gods sake. I shouldn't have butterflies in my stomach when I see her" I confessed. It felt good telling someone. I was glad it was Scooter I was telling as he always have good advice.

"Are things alright with you and Selena lately?" He asked.

"I guess" I replied. I was confused by his question.

"Then what you're feeling is just a little crush. Don't worry about it Justin. It's not like you're in love with Lauren. It's just a little crush and whatever you're feeling will more than likely be gone by next week" he said.

I gave a sigh of relief. Scooter and I talked for another few minutes before he left. I walked back to the arena relieved. It was just a silly little crush. That's all it was. By next week I'd be over her. I mean it was just a crush....
