A/N: This was inspired from the song Fourth of July was sampled from, Lost It To Trying by Son Lux. I swear, the song is as amazing as Fall Out Boy's version, but Patrick's voice is still better. But go listen to it! It's amazing.

(That's what Patty looks like in the imagine! ^^)

This imagine will have nothing to do much with the lyrics of the song, but I'll focus on the tune of the song itself.

I hope you enjoy!

(EDIT: It's a joke chapter, it's supposed to have a lot of song references. Please do not murder me in the comments section. Thanks!)

Today was the last day of school, and 90% of the students in your school were throwing their textbooks up in the air, as if to symbolize freedom, planning what to do for the summer and making out with each other. They have freedom, hooray. You, on the other hand, were in one corner, packing your stuff up, having no freedom since your parents didn't allow you to hang out with anyone for the summer for NO REASON AT ALL, until the guy which you hated since fifth grade, Patrick Martin Stumph, kneeled next to you and helped you.

"What do YOU want?" You picked up your math notebook, accidentally touching fingers with Patrick's. He stared at you while you stopped packing.

"I'm here to apologize to whatever I did to you. You've always been avoiding me since fifth grade, even if I didn't do a thing to hurt you. I just want peace, alright?" His voice lowered down on the last part, and it was obvious he was gonna cry at any minute.

"Why do you even care?" You crossed your arms and started packing again.

"Why do you need to know?" He asked harshly, wiping a tear that fell down without you even noticing.

"Because I don't want to forgive you unless tomorrow's your last day." You replied coldly. He stood up and raised both of his arms.

"Your amount of sass is unbearable. Fine, you win. Don't forgive me or whatever."

After those words that Patrick said, you started to regret not forgiving him. He started walking away, but you caught up with him.

"Fine. I forgive you. But do me one favor."

His eyes lit up. "What favor?"

"Give me freedom. Help me escape from my parents."

He looked at you with worry. "Escaping? Are you sure about this, (Y/N)? Where are you gonna stay?"

His question did prove a point; where WERE you gonna stay?

An idea popped up in your head. "In your house, if you let me stay at yours, I'll forgive you."

"Deal." He stretched his left hand for you to shake, and you shook it slightly. "When are you planning this?"

"Today. When we get out of school. Use your car, bring me to your house."

"Fine. As long as you tell me why you hate me and forgive me."

"Deal."

He nodded his head. "Isn't school already done? It's like, 5PM already. So that means we're leaving now, right?"

You huffed. "I knew that."

"So are you gonna start getting your stuff so you have something to use for the whole summer?" He pointed at your stuff behind you.

You looked back at the pile of extra clothes, books, notebooks and pens you had on your desk. "I'll only bring a few."

He nodded again, but now slowly. "Okay, let's go!" He ran to his car, signaling you to come with him.
