He came home from the studio and smiled, looking around his house and smiling. The love of his life was cooking in the kitchen, and the smell of the sumptuous food was lingering around the house.
"Welcome home, Baby," she greeted as he nuzzled his nose onto her shoulder, tickling her gently. "I missed you."
"Awe," he purred. "I missed you more."
She pulled away and escorted him to the nearest dining chair in the kitchen and took the food with her and served it on a glass platter. "Here, you're probably hungry from all the stress today."
"I sure am." He sighed as he started eating, an obvious look of gratitude etched on his face.
"Look, how about I change into something more comfortable, then I'll go down and have some," a smirk tugged on his lips, "fun."
The lady blushed and excused her husband from the table, letting him do what he wanted to do.

Another tear came streaming down his face as he relived the memories of his former girlfriend, also known as his current daughter. And what made it worse was that it was his fault.
"Hey," Pete greeted as he chimed in the room. "I know you're sad, but you need to come out and socialize, Buddy. We miss you."
"I miss her more," Patrick whimpered. Pete nodded and par him on the back, showing sympathy. "I can't believe it. She was my everything."
"She's going to come home, 'Trick. Just wait."
He sighed frustratedly. "That's the point, Peter. I'm not sure if she even is coming home. I messed up big time."
"You did. For some fucking reason, you had to tell her the truth. There, look at what you've done. You should be ashamed."
"Watch your language," the younger lad scolded. The bassist rolled his eyes and jumped off the bed.
"I'm not someone you can boss over like a father, Patrick."
"I just really miss her, is that even bad?" He threw the vase beside him to the wall, shattering into millions of pieces just like his heart.
"It is when you stop socializing with your best friends and stop recording for your band. The whole fandom misses you, Patrick. Get yourself together or get busy dying."
"I'd rather die to be fucking honest."
Pete sighed. "How about we watch TV? Get your mind off it?"
He spent no time hearing Patrick's whines as he turned the television on, the local news playing.
"It has been reported than an 18-year-old female has been roaming around in the city, and was recently admitted to the local hospital due to brain fractures caused by a car accident. Any information about her may be highly appreciated."
-
He was out of his mind, even if the incident was nearly three years ago.
"Pete said you would come home, Baby. You didn't. Why?" He threw another beer bottle at the wall. "You left me."
"She's coming home," he said, mimicking Pete. "No, she's not. She's never coming home."
