A/N: A huge thank you to one of my real-life best friends and sassy girl, Mrs. Sofia Hemmings aka yewtewburs for this imagine which actually brought me to tears. All idea credits to her, except for the end, it's mine *evil laugh*

You were out for a girls night with your friends, leaving your husband, Patrick, and your daughter. Surprisingly, Patrick called you. You assumed that he'd just ask you where on earth you were, since he never called you during night outs to respect your free time. Nevertheless, you picked the phone up.

A tone of worry was mixed with his voice as a baby's cry was heard in the background. "Babe, I need help. The baby's crying for a straight hour now and I can't make her stop. She still hasn't stopped crying and I'm starting to feel bad and I just can't take this, I feel like a bad father, I'm sorry-"

"Patrick, don't think of nonsense like that," you cut him off. "You're a good father. Probably the greatest I've ever seen."

"Thanks, babe," Patrick said, breaking back into reality from your words as he heard the baby cry louder. "So, how do I stop her?"

"Have you tried feeding her?"

"Yes."

"Milk?"

"Yes, many times now."

"Changing her diaper?"

"Tried."

"Have you tried singing her a lullaby?" you questioned with annoyance.

"A lullaby?" he asked, looking down at the red-faced infant in his hands.

"Yes, a lullaby. Have you tried it?" You sighed.

"I don't know, I'll try."

You heard him putting the phone down on the table, setting it on speaker mode. You picture him on your mind, carrying the baby and rocking her back and forth as you hear the noise.

"Honey is for bees, silly bear, besides, there'd jellybeans everywhere. It's not what it seems in the land of dreams, don't worry your head, just go to sleep," he sang, hearing the baby stop crying. You hear him put back the baby in the crib and pick up the phone. "Thank you, (Y/N). You're the best mom ever. I love you so much."

You chuckle at his compliment. "And you're the best dad ever, you fedora-wearing man. I love you more."

"Ah, one more thing. I put the fedora on the baby before it went to sleep, I guess it slept because of the fedora and not me," he chuckled.

"My little nerds."
