You brushed your hair to one side as Pete rambled on about this girl he's seeing.

"So she's blonde, and OH! She'e got this great ass and this really caring personality. She's a model, and her name is Meagan. Sounds okay?" he dreamily asked. You raised your eyebrow playfully and nodded before playing with your fingers.

"She honestly sounds perfect. For you. I hope that you actually become a thing," you said. He nodded vigorously before gettin interrupted by the chime on the front door opening, a familiar face walking in with his hands in his pockets. "Shit."

You looked around in panic before deciding to hide under the table, your head peeking out from under.

"(Y/N)? What the—what the hell are you doing down there?" he asked in confusion. You shushed him violently before crawling nearer to the edge, watching his every movement. He sat down on a booth across yours and looked around until his eyes landed on yours.

You swore under your breath before jumping up and hitting your head, making you groan in pain. He raised an eyebrow before pushing his glasses up and walking slowly to your booth. You heard Pete give him a greeting as you slithered out of your hiding spot.

"What were you doing down there?" Pete interrogated. Your eyes widened as you saw Patrick, staring at you blankly.

"Oh, heeeeey," you said, trying to sound nonchalant. "Just chilling around... under tables... doing stuff... you know?"

He kept his blank stare before you sighed and raised your arms up. "What do you want?"

He didn't move a single muscle as you stood up from your seat and walked around him to walk outside quietly, but he grabbed your wrist and turned to you.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"Stuff."

"Odd stuff to say the least. How's life been treating you?"

"Weird. Now could you please let me go?"

"I would, but—"

"EVERYBODY GET OUT! HURRY! IT'S AN EMERGENCY!" a staff from behind the counter screamed. The last thing you heard after that were screams and hysteria from the people around you.
