Mr. Ramos’ Voice

Nagising ako sa tunog ng alarm ko at ng cellphone ko, someone is calling, I looked at my cellphone and I saw Andrei’s name on the screen I click the answer button but didn’t talk yet.

(hello sir sorry to disturb you)

“it’s ok gising na din naman na ako eh, so how is it?”

(she said yes…)

“well do your best para naman makuha mo ang pangalawa at pangatlong yes ng anak ko… hahaha”

(pangatlo po?)

“yeah, pag magpopropose ka na, hahaha”

(haha, sige po tito, ihahatid ko pa sa room niya si alexia… maya na lang po ulit)

“ok, ingat kayo ah”

Then I hung up… everything is going according to plan. Maybe you are confuse of the situation, well to tell you honestly my wife and I knew that Clarence also known as Andrei is still alive after the accident, in fact we are the one who surrender him in his true family. The Ramirez , we just keep it as a secret with our little princess… but it seems that fate really has its own way…

When the time Alexia left our house my wife and I are so desperate to find her… it last for about a year or two we almost lost our hopes until one day.

*FLASHBACK*

I was walking inside the mall when accidentally I bumped to a girl… she looks familiar then I try to recall her… the face of our princess flash on my mind and there I remember this girl in front of me…

“you are Alexia’s friend right?”

“correction po, bestfriend niya po ako…”

“oh I see, here”

I gave her my hand to help her stand…

“thank you po”

“ahm hija can we talk?”

“ho? Tungkol po saan?”

“its better kung sa coffee shop na tayo magusap”

“s-sige po”

We order two cups of black coffee… and sit beside the window…

“tungkol po saan yung paguusapan natin tito?”

“it’s about alexia, I know she’s with you, how is she?”

“she’s fine tito, in fact she’s working to earn her own living”

“what? She doesn’t need to go to work, we have money I mean a lot of money we can support her”

“but tito you know alexia very well she has a lot of pride in her, she will never ask for your help”

“I know that, kaya ikaw na lang ang tumulong sa amin”

“ano pong gagawin ko?”

“just give us an update on everything that she does, as in everything… then I will give you her allowance, but please don’t tell her, is that ok?”

“ok tito…”

“thank you”

We ended our conversation with a deal… since then alexia’s action is reported to me by her friend…

And evertything follows, ang pagdating ni Andrei sa buhay ni Alexia is also planned… but his feelings for my daughter… I didn’t do anything about it…
