"Next thing that I know I'm in the hotel with you, you were talking deep like it was mad love to you. You wanted my heart but I just liked your tattoos. Poured it down, so I poured it down."

-

Every breath was heavy and shaky, my heart feeling as if every time it beat it was replaced with a lagged stutter. I did not know why Alec was being so upfront with me. I understand that I have been purposely getting on his nerves lately, but the fact he had the audacity to touch me..I hated every moment of it. I hated him.

"Get out of my way." I snapped, reaching behind and grabbing his wrist tightly. He smirked down at me, his eyes traveling to my lips as some form of way to make me pissed off.

"And if I don't?" Alec mumbled, his voice barely below a whisper, deep and violent. I shook my head and suppressed a poor laugh.

"I advise you to move, Alec. Or else I will start screaming." I gave him a smug look. His reaction, however, was to die for. He looked almost scared. But he still did not move. Did he really think I wouldn't do it? oooh, this is going to be great.

"Liar." He snapped.

"Wanna bet?" I trailed over his features, but he refused to crack. So I parted my lips and let out a blood curdling scream. Alec screeched angrily and smacked his hand over my mouth, although it didn't really help any. As soon as I heard the quickening footsteps of Olivia and Jackson, I stumbled to the side and watched as they burst through the door, terrified.

"Avalon!! Are you okay?! What did he do to you!?" She screeched nervously, panting.

"That wasn't me, Olivia..That was Alec who screamed. He saw a spider." I smiled. Alec looked over at me and gave me a menacing look, his fists clenched to the point it must have hurt.

"Oh, my." Olivia spoke, looking over at Alec and giving a muffled laugh. "You scream like a girl, son. Are you okay?" Olivia asked. Jackson was dying, however; bellowing loud howls of laughter to the point he was arched forwards. Alec looked so, so angry.

"Fine." Alec answered between gritted teeth, his chest heaving upwards.

"Oh..Well, I guess I need to call an exterminator tomorrow. Come downstairs when you are ready to eat." Olivia smiled. Jackson whispered something in Alec's ear when he was finally content with himself, making him look at me. I gulped steadily. I needed to get myself out of this room.

"Olivia, I am actually starving right now.." No lie, I really was. "May I come downstairs with you?" I asked nervously, but Alec slung himself forwards and latched onto my arm.

"No, I have to help you unpack." Alec said, a mischievous glint in his eyes. I shook my head and tugged myself away. Or tried to. He was not letting go, though. So I basically had no choice but to hear what he had to say.

"Fine." I grumbled. "We'll be down in a sec, guys. I'm sure we won't be that long." I said, a smile tugging loosely at my lips.

"Of course! Take all the time you need!" Olivia said, skipping out with Jackson. I walked out of Alec's room and towards mine, leashing Alec behind like a rabid puppy since he was yet to releasing me from his hold. Once we got in the guest bedroom, Alec slammed the door shut, making me yip in fright.

"What you just did..It is so convenient that you would do such an injudicious thing, seeing as though my eagerness to set you straight is practically bleeding straight through me. I will fucking tear you to pieces, Fidel. And it will be your fault in the end." He spoke, his jaw clenched to the point his jawline was toned perfectly towards his lips. I shook away the thought.

"Alec, before I came here, I was absolutely horrified of you. Of even coming close to you to begin with. And I am not sure if it is the spacious rumors I hear of you beating the ever living shit out of people, or perhaps the fact that I am aware you could ruin my life in the snap of your chilled fingers..But now, now that I know you are nothing but a hot guy with an attitude of a spoiled brat, I am not so sure you intimidate me as much. And I apologize to fuck with your ego as I say this, but you need to realize that because you have every living girl on earth fawning over you and you have a naughty obsession with wearing leather jackets, it only makes you look intimidating. You're like a dog. All bark, no bite.." I said softly, yanking my wrist away from his hand. He stood there, staring at me with such hatred in his eyes. I knew I had finally broke Alec Vermont. He had nothing to say, and it only made me smile influentially. "Now if you will excuse me." I stated, slipping past him and walking out with such a proud vibe.

"Breakfast was amazing, Olivia. Thank you." I said, lying my dishes in the sink. She gave me a gentle smile that could melt anyone's heart.

"It's my pleasure, Avalon. Alec has been out of the loop, lately. I am beginning to get worried. He doesn't eat as much. And as you know, men are abnormally hungry twenty-four seven." She laughed, although a weak grin gave away the fact she was sincerely worried. I lied a hand on her shoulder comfortingly.

"He's probably just not hungry, Olivia. I can assure you he will be down for dinner." I said. She nodded. "Is it alright if I have a friend come over this afternoon?" I asked, although it was kind of rude to invite others to someone else's house. But she seemed okay with it.

"Of course! I am going to work in a little bit, anyways. That's why I am wearing my good clothes. I have to go to a meeting." She said tiredly. Jackson left after 'Alec' screamed bloody murder, I guess. I frowned for her, and for myself. Because Alec + Avalon + Alone = war. "Yes, Yes. I know." She trailed off, peeking at her watch. "Oh shoot! Matter of fact, I am running late. I'll catch you later, dear. Like I said before, do not be afraid to please yourself to whatever you like. This house is going to be yours as well for two months." She placed a peck on my cheek and hurried herself out the door.

I pulled out my phone and dialed Emery's number. Emery was my best friend. She was tall, thin, had long blonde hair, and was as close to being a model as she could possibly get. Emery was gorgeous. No, stunning. I admired her. And everyone else did too. However, she was not stuck up about herself, but was fair enough to admit that she was pretty. That is what I loved about her. Why she chose to pick dorky ole' me as her friend, I am unaware. But Lord am I thankful.

"Hola, Chika." She answered cheerfully. I laughed, shaking my head.

"You need to come over, right now. I have so much to tell you." I chirped. I heard shuffles in the background, which most likely meant she was already getting ready.

"Why? What's up?" Emery asked curiously.

"OH SHIT." I shouted. "I forgot to tell you, didn't I.." I giggled. I knew she was already getting suspicious.

"Tell me what..?"

"That I am staying at Alec Vermont's for two months because my parents are on a cruise for their anniversary." I cowered down guiltily, ready to get a mouthful.

"Are you fucking kidding me, Avalon?! You are living with my dream boy and you did not tell me!? Why are we even friends, this is preposterous." She shouted.

"I'm sorry! Please, just come over and you can hate me then. I have to spill my heart out to you." She sighed, which meant Emery had given up.

"Fine. Be there in five."

"Wait. How do you know where he lives?" I asked, raising an eyebrow curiously.

"Ummm..WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS, WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS, WE WISH YOU--" And the line fell silent. I groaned, shoving my phone back into my pocket and taking a seat on the couch, being sure Alec was not there before. This was going to be a long day.
