"Well shit." Emery laughed, cutting the engine of the car and getting out. I laughed and nodded my head, doing the same.

"You're telling me." I smiled. I looked around at everyone. Ever since I started staying with Alec, everything is different. It's like a single day is a whole week. I looked over and saw Kayde, Tanner and Blake all together, Alec leaned up against a brick wall. Kayde caught me mid-stare and waved reaaalll enthusiastically. His hand held up, swinging and everything. I blushed and laughed, waving back. Alec hit him in the stomach, which caused Kayde to lurch forwards and groan.

"You and Kayde seem pretty close." Emery smiled. I laughed, shaking my head.

"No, no. He was just nice to me when Alec was being a total douche, like always." I left out the day he had his breaking episode. Because he would hate me even more if a rumor got out saying he cried. "By the way, we are hanging out with them today. Alec excluded." I said. She stopped and looked at me, wide eyed.

"You're kidding." She said. I rolled my eyes and continued forwards, but she lurched me back. "Do you know what this means! I am finally going to meet Tanner!" Tanner, like Alec, was probably the second hottest guy that goes to our school. He also has a bad reputation with the police, and breaking hearts. Stays with a girl for a few days, blah, then dumps them and moves on within an hour, leaving girls littered around our school in heaps.

"Em, you know you are just going to get hurt, right? If something ever did happen between you two? He's nothing but a player, and you know that." I said. She gulped, staring straight behind me.

"Talking about me again, Princess?" That, oh so, familiar voice just purred out. I slowly turned around and smiled brightly.

"Mmm, you wish." He held his palm over his chest and gasped, taking a step.

"Ouch. Shot through the heart." I rolled my eyes.

"What do you want." I grumbled. He just smiled, moving forwards, closer to me. Almost too close.

"Just to warn you, Fidel. Paybacks a bitch." He hissed. I knew everyone's attention was on us, which was awkward because I am very shy when it comes to people looking at me. My face was blood red, probably.

"This morning was an accident, Alec. You know that." I retorted, placing my pointer finger on his chest and pushing him back. He glared at me, but quickly covered it with a mischievous smirk.

"Well, accidents happen." He said, turning around and walking back towards his little boy posse. What did that mean?

"He so digs you." Emery said, breaking the silence. I looked over my shoulder at her and scoffed. "What! It's so obvious!" No, it's not. I thought, walking towards the school, ignoring all of the nasty glares I was receiving by just talking to Alec. That's the thing..All girls want him. They would kill just to have him, literally. I'm sure with just a little bit of sweet talk and a cute little expression, they would gladly do anything for him. Except me. I actually find him rather revolting.

Lunch time. A time of day where all hell breaks loose, and girls go straight to the janitors closet to get themselves a piece of Alec Vermont. I mean, all you have to do is walk past the room and you instantly know what is happening. And you instantly know who it is. Because not a single person in this school is as sexually active as Alec. It has gotten so bad to the point the staff doesn't even give a shit, anymore. They might as well put up a caution sign.

"Tanner, Blake, meet Avalon and her friend Emery. They will be hanging with us from now on." Kayde smiled, tossing an arm over my shoulder. Emery just stood there giggling while Tanner gave her the look. What do I mean by 'the look'? Well, let me break it down to you. He narrows his eyes, bites his lip, forces his jawline to clench and melts every girls heart while doing so. That, my friend, is the look. I hit Emery in the shoulder to snap her out of the silly daze. She turned towards me, glaring.

"Oops. Did I just cock-block you?" I smiled, batting my eyelashes. She reddened like a cherry and plopped down. Tanner just laughed at me, shaking his head. "I'm sorry, Tanner. You can't have my best friends booty." I sounded like I was joking, but I was completely, without a doubt, 100% serious.

"Yes, ma'am." He mumbled.

"So, who is Alec pinning down today?" I asked, taking a seat by Emery and smiling. Kayde took a seat next to me and laughed.

"See, guys, this is why she is hanging with us." Everyone laughed. Blake placed his hands on the table and smirked.

"I heard it was Kate." He said, grinning from ear to ear. Oooo, not surprised.

"Holy shit. This is what, like, the fifth time?" I laughed. Emery looked over at me.

"Umm, more like the fifth time in two weeks. All year? Probably thirty." Everyone at the table laughed, Kayde nearly falling out of his seat.

"Ohh my gooddd, she is such a slut. Even I wouldn't tap that." Kayde said. Tanner laughed, rolling his eyes.

"You liar. You'd tap a god damn gorilla." Tanner snapped.

"Or a sea creature." Blake snickered.

"Another guy, even." Emery spoke, one hundred percent flat faced.

"Fuzzy wuzzy fluffy raccoon." Everyone looked at me as if I were stupid. I held up my phone, showing a picture of the raccoon. Kayde dropped onto the floor, screaming 'Aw's'. Everyone else just smiled and giggled.

"Ew, what the fuck is that. It looks like a rat." A voice said behind me. I turned, of course Alec was there, zipping up his pants with a smirk.

"You look like a rat." I replied, sticking my tongue out at him. I watched as Kate came in the cafeteria, fixing the hem of her skirt. A chill ran up my spine. How gross.

"Oh shit, I am so offended." He frowned. I just smiled and turned back around. Tanner was the first to speak up.

"Aren't you getting tired of Kate yet?" He asked. Alec sat beside him and laughed, biting his lip. Oh damn. Kayde had positioned himself out of the floor after a series more of aw's and ooh's.

"Yeah, but I'm still waiting on another girl before I move on." He winked at me and I felt my heart sink. Emery nudged me in the rips, causing me to squeak.

"Told you!" She whisper shouted. No. Please, no.

"Keep dreaming." I growled, but he just continued smirking my way.

"Why do I have to? You're the one who hugged me naked." He spoke, a little bit louder so everyone could hear. I gulped, feeling my face droop a little bit.

"You did what!" Emery screamed, giving me a 'what the hell' look. Kayde raised an eyebrow and frowned.

"Alec, you are forgetting a teeny weeny part. Don't forget the fact that you came in my room bawling your eyes out right after I had gotten out of the shower. I was being kind, like I always am. But you just have to be an asshole, huh? Don't worry. I'll try not to make sure you are tucked in properly next time you come in at three o'clock in the morning shitfaced and wake me up. I'll just leave you there." I smiled, standing up and grabbing Emery by the wrist. He had a blank expression plastered on his features, Kayde and Tanner looking at him disappointingly. I practically dragged Emery out of the cafeteria and straight into the bathroom.
