Bright side, Dark side
For some reason naging abala ako for the next few days. I've been enjoying myself so far and I can tell na nagugustuhan na ni Raph ang Pilipinas. Maybe they want us to see how fun it is here so they can get us to stay.
But I really can't.
No matter how simple life is here, may nagsasabi sa akin na kung gawin kong permanente ang pamumuhay dito, things will change. And I've been hating change. I love my life in Cali. I love our little appartment and the beach and the hospital that I work in. I love living our simple life. I like waking up next to Raph and knowing that everything is okay, nothing complicated will happen.
It had a new message from Aeron.
"You didn't tell me that he's still in touch with you." Sabi niya. "Why is your ex still in touch with you?"
"Hindi ko alam. I don't even know how he got my number but don't worry okay? Hindi ko nirereplyan." I assured him.
"I have half a mind to go beat him up right now." Raph grumbled. Para talagang bata kapag nagseselos. Nakakatuwa.
"Raph," Malambing ko siyang tinawag. Nagpipigil naman ng ngiti ang mokong.
"Okay. Hindi na ako galit. But the next time he texts or if he calls, you give the phone to me. Got it?" He said in a fake stern voice.
"Yes babe." I smiled widely.
Tumango naman siya. He stood up to pay for our coffee tapos we both headed to the car. Roadtrips are fun with Raph.
He sang and I laughed so hard.
"Raph?! Bakit alam mo 'yang kantang 'yan??"
"It's cute eh! There's this other one I like pero di ko matandaan 'yung song title."
"Ano lyrics?" I was almost too afraid to ask.
"Oh my god..." I facepalmed.
And my goodness updated siya sa mga pinoy loveteams? Hindi ko talaga inexpect. I was laughing so much na kinailangan naming tumigil sa gitna ng eskinita dahil sumasakit na talaga ang tiyan ko. Para akong ina-appendicitis sa kakatawa.
But believe it or not, Raph and I did not start out this happy.
On the contrary parati kaming nag-aaway dahil sa kawalan ng time. I mean, law and student and med student? This went on for weeks. Finally when we've had enough, nagkita kami sa isang coffee shop.
