Confused (A Chris Pine fanfic)

Chapter One

"Debby?" My roommate called from downstairs.

"Ugh." I replied as I rolled out of my bed. "Ya?" I yelled down to her. There was no answer. I walked out of my bedroom and headed towards the kitchen and she handed me the phone.

"It is Cassidy." She said.

"Okay. Thanks." I replied turning around and walking back up to my room. Cassidy is my best friend. She and I are the same height. She has dirty blonde hair and is really tan. On the other hand, I am the complete opposite. I am really pale and have brown hair. When my hair is up it is red.

"Bee!" She yelled into the phone when I answered. She called me be because for one, Deborah, my full name, means bee in Hebrew and second because my name is sound like deb-bee.

"What's up Cass?" I respond laughing at her random outburst.

"You ready to see Star Trek?" She asked.

"Hell yes! You got the tickets? When is it?" I asked.

"In 3 hours. We get to go to the premiere. My dad snagged us some tickets." She said. Cassidy's dad is a movie producer so he has an advantage on movies.

"Okay, pick me up in ten I need to get ready." I said. I hung up and ran to my closet. 'What to wear to a premiere?' I thought to myself. I pulled out my cocktail dress. It goes to just above the knee. It is tight at the top then flows out at the bottom. It is black with and orange ribbon as the straps. I pull the dress on and pull on a pair of black leggings. I pulled out my sparkly black flats and grabbed my bag. Phone? Check. Wallet? Check. I ran to the bathroom to put on my makeup and fix my hair. I put on light eye shadow and lip gloss and did an over the shoulder braid.

"Sam!" I yelled running down the stairs. Sam is my roommate. She is super tall and thin and has bright red hair.

"What?" She yelled.

"I'm going to a movie. Be back later. I ran out the door just as Cassidy pulled up. She was wearing a light blue one sleeve dress that was tight and stopped at the knee.

"You ready?" She asked.

"As ready as I can be the watch, the hottest guy in the world play, Captain Kirk." I said of course referring to Chris Pine.

"We are gonna party as if we are twenty two even though we are twenty seven." She said laughing.

We pulled up in front of the theater. Hundreds of Star Trek fans were there. We spotted Cassidy's dad and start walking towards him. We get stopped by two security guards.

"No fans passed this point." The one said.

"We are here for the premier." Cassidy said sounding annoyed.

"Ya sure." The one guy snorted. Then we heard a voice.

"Good you to finally made it." Cassidy's dad said. The two security guards turned red and walked away.

"I hope you guys don't mind but I had to switch spots with someone else because I forgot my glasses." He said. That's fine. I was the one sitting by him so I wonder who I am sitting by now. Cassidy's dad is like a dad to me ever since mine dad died when I was twelve. My mom remarried but I don't go through the whole calling him stepdad. I call him father. He has turned my mother into a hateful woman. I got into the theater and went up to the counter. We both got regular popcorns and regular root beers. We got onto the theater the person who is going to be sitting by me is not there yet. We are sitting in the very back row.

"After there is going to be a showing of the last Star Trek do you wanna watch that too?" Cassidy asked sounding hopeful.

"Duh." I said. "Come with me I have to go to the bathroom." I said. When we came back there were 2 people in our spots and the other person was there. I could not make out who it was.

"Excuse me you're in our spots." I said politely.

"Oh ya and what are you gonna do? Said the guy.

"Get out of there spots assholes!" The guy beside me said. The men got up and left. The seating was the man, me and then Cassidy.

"Thanks" I said. Sticking my hand out. "My names Debby but call me bee. And this is Cassidy." I said. He put his hood down and grabbed my hand and said,

"Hi my names Chris Pine but call me Chris."
