Chapter Twenty-Seven

Jim Kirks POV

I was sitting on the bridge, still, no one but Sulu and Spock know of my rank. No one was talking, all we could think if was the planet below. It was consumed.

"We've go to regroup with the fleet." Spock said jumping up.

"No!" I yelled "by the time we've gathered it will be to late. We have to find out where they are going next, we may be able to stop them."

"I am the acting captain and you will listen to my orders!" Spock yelled.

"You never loved her," I said shaking my head, I knew there was only one way to save Starfleet.

"What?" Spock asked.

"You never loved your mother, it my must not even compute!" I screamed at him, I hated hurting him but it was the only way this would work.

Spock grabbed me I a choke hold slowly cutting off my air.

"Spock!" he father yelled and Spock slowly began to let go.

"Doctor make a note in the ships log I am no long fit for command considering I am emotionally compromised." He said as he rushed out.

"We now what Jim? we got no captain and no god damn first officer to replace him!" Bones yelled at me.

"Yes we have." I said sitting down in the Captains chair.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me!" Bones yelled throwing his hands into the air.

"Captain Pike made him first officer." Sulu said turning around in his Chair.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Bones said leaving the bridge.

"Chekov find us a way to hide from the Romulan ship." i said leaning forward in my chair.

"Aye Captain." He said.

"I will be in the observation lounge if anyone needs me." I said walking off the bridge.

I sat staring down to where Vulcan had been before.

"Captain I've got so,eone who has something to say to you. Can you come to my office?" Bones said.

I shook my head.If he is just going to complain anout the actions i am taking then i will just leave. I said to myself.

As the doors opened to Bones's office.

"Who is here to see me?" I asked about to ssit down when i heard a small voice.

"Jim!" She said. I smiled sp happy to hear her voice again.
