Chapter Nineteen

"Uhura!" I heard Jim yell from behind me.

"Yes." She answered.

"Give me thirty minutes. I want to talk to Bee alone." He said.

"Okay. I have to grab a few things anyway." She said. Jim came and grabbed my hand.

"Transporter Chief." Jim said.

"Yes?" He responded.

"Two to beam at my current location to Kirk and Gilbo quarters." Jim said. "Energize." A few moments later we were at our door. We got inside and I sat on the bed and he sat beside me.

"Bee. I am so excited to have a child with you. The woman of my dreams." He said. I put my hand on his cheek.

"I am excited as well." I said. Kissing him lightly.

"I am going to write my top ten baby names when I get home." He said.

"I will write some too." I said.

For the next few minutes we sat there and just laid beside each other. One arm around my shoulder holding into my hand and the other on my stomach. There was a knock on my door and I went to open it. It was Uhura. In her hand she had a bag of mini donuts and in the other she had chocolate milk. I laughing grabbing the.

"Just what every pregnant woman needs." She said.

"Thanks." I said laughing. I noticed she was in her pajamas. A t-shirt with he name and rank on it and a pair of fuzzy pajamas.

"I'm going to change out of my uniform." I said closing the door behind her. I went over to my dresser.

"Jim are you..." Was all I could say before I grabbed my stomach and placed a hand over my mouth. Iran to the bathroom. I had just made it to the washroom in time. Jim followed behind me. He help up my hair with one hand and rubbed my back with the other Uhura was at the sink soaking a cloth. I sat back and leaned against Jim.

"Nine months of this. Great!" I said clearly emphasizing the sarcasm.

"You doing great." Uhura said placing the cloth onto my forehead.

"Thanks you two. I am feeling better l am going to put on my pajamas." I said. Uhura left the room and Jim helped me stand up. I didn't realize that when Jim came into the bathroom he brought my pajamas with him. He had grabbed my t-shirt that had my name and rank. (Like Uhura) and my Star Trek combadge bottoms. Once I put them on I went and sat on the bed.

"Jim are you going in your uniform?" I asked.

"Since we are going to a civilian bar we have to." He said.

"Have fun!" I said as he opened the door to leave.

"I love you!" He said.

"I love you too!" I responded.

Uhura came out of the kitchen with two glasses of milk on a platter with the mini donuts.

"The are fresh. What I am getting next is no." She said laughing and walking per to the replicator.

"Computer. Cheese tray." She said. When I finished she came and sat with me

"My friend is having a baby in five months. They have figured out that it is a boy and they have chosen a name. His name with be William ." Uhura said.

"I have an idea for my child. If it is a boy I want to name him Gordi." I said.

"That's awesome!" She said laughing. Jim came back in the room.
