Confused (A Chris Pine fanfic)

Chapter Nine

We rushed into the building. Trying not to get mobbed by the crazy fans.

"Holy cow!" I said out of breath.

"Way more fans than last time." Chris said. We walked up to the counter.

"What do you want love?" Chris asked me.

"Um... Well... A small popcorn and a large root beer." I replied. He gave the order to the clerk.

"Two small popcorn, one large root beer and one large coke." He said. When the clerk let to get the food I looked to Chris.

"Wow this lady is not as flirtatious as the other one." I said. The woman came back over and we grabbed our food. We were in the back row again which is a good thing because I hate having people behind me. I always feel like they are watching me. We sat down in our seats. The person who sat on my other side was John Cho. He plays Hikaru Sulu. He is my second favorite. He was there with his girlfriend. When we finished our introductions we sat down. Chris lifted the arm rest that was between us and wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer.

"This is why I like the back row." He said intertwining his fingers with mine. I laid my head on his chest and the movie began. Sometimes during the movie he would steal a kiss or hold me closer to him. Even though I had already seen this movie it was still as exciting as the first.

The movie ended and the lights began to brighten.

"So who is your favorite character?" Chris asked cheekily.

"You know it will always be you." I said grabbing his nose. I looked at my phone. Nine miss calls. Oh shot. three from Cassidy two from Sam and four from Mia. Only one voice mail from Cassidy. I listened to it. It was mainly about here seeing stuff about me and Chris on the news. No voice mails from Sam but two voice mail from Mia. They were about Sam. She came home with more bruises today. I texted Mia.

To: Mia  

I am on my way now.

"Chris I need you to get to my place and fast." I said. Tension and nervousness in my voice.

"What's wrong?" I could see a worried expression on his face.

"Sam and her boyfriend have been fighting. Her boyfriend is abusive and apparently Mia can't get ahold of her and Sam gas more bruises. I texted Cassidy.

To: Cassidy.  

My house NOW!

We pulled up in front of the apartment complex. Chris and I ran up the stairs. We got to our door and it was cracked open. I went to push it open but I heard a scream. Oh my god. He is hurting her.

"Help!" Sam screamed. I went to push the door open but Chris grabbed me.

"Let go of me!" I said wriggling under his grasp.

"First call the police." He said.

Once he got of the phone I couldn't help it anymore. I pushed the door open. Sam laid on the floor covered in blood. I went to help her when I felt a sharp pain in my side. I screamed. Sams boyfriend stabbed me. He ran out of the apartment and Chris ran in.

"Debby!" He screamed. Taking off his jacket trying to stop the bleeding. Sams bleeding had come from her nose. He had broken it and it poured down her face. Thank god he didn't stab her. I went to go to her side but I screamed out in pain. The cut on my side must be extremely deep. Chris was now crying his arms wrapped around me. I couldn't see. I could talk any more. The only way I knew he was crying was his tears falling into my face. Then everything went dark.
