After you had left Link and Elzo in the meadow you took the boy you had just met to a place only you knew of. "Please be okay," you spoke gently laying him on the bed in this hidden house "I don't want you to die.". As you got up to get the medical supplies he coughed, you looked back and smiled "I will stay by your side from here on I swear it, what ever happens to you shall happen to me as well. As the chains of sheikah fate begin o change"

As you grabbed the bandages from the cupboard he spoke but it was hard to understand,"(Y/n)...where...we...why?"

You looked back and told him, "Look don't try to talk you have a life threatening injury on your stomach and I'm fixing it okay.". He nodded and smiled at you, not knowing what to do in this situation you kissed him.

"Okay this might hurt a bit.." You said blushing while pouring hydrogen peroxide on a cloth "Try and bear it please." As you put the wet cloth on his stomach he began to whimper you laughed, "it doesn't look that bad you just need some stitches where it's deepest". He nodded again still whimpering at the sting from the chemical, as you grabbed the first aid box from a high shelf.

"(Y/n)...my..na...Sha...ow..." He tried to tell you as you stitched the wound up on his stomach.

"I told you not to talk yet silly," you said handing him a pen and some paper "Here write down what you want to tell me. You shouldn't talk for a few hours or so okay." He nodded again and wrote on the paper for about two minutes. As he handed it to you he smiled as cheerily as someone in intense pain could. It said in very neat handwriting;

"Little (Y/n) that kiss surprised me but that's all right. I want you to know my name and why I know so much about you. My name is Shadow plain and simple as that silly right? The reason that I know your name and so much about you is that I used to watch you play when we were little and living Kakario village.You're parents they served the royal family and were killed by the queen of Hyrule for her never getting to see you. I know this might be new to you but their death is what started the larger part of the war between Hyrulians and the Sheikah. I know that you may want revenge on everyone for this but nothing can be done about it. I was so happy to finally see the little girl who I never had the courage to speak to again. You mean the world to me and I am so happy that you were not killed by the Hylains in that war."

"So, your that little boy who used to always stare at me while I played?" You managed to say holding back your tears.

He smiled at you warmly as someone in intense pain could, "Y..es...(Y/n)..I...m...gla..d to..fin.nally..speak...with..you...i..in...p..person," Shadow took a shaky breath, "I...mea..nt ...everything...I..wro..te...and..its..the..tru..th...I...swear.."

You gently stroked his purple hair away from his glowing red eyes that were just like yours. "Get some sleep okay we can leave in the morning if you'd like Shadow, or if you want to stay here your welcome to anytime okay." As you stood up to leave he grabbed the hem of your shirt, "Sta..y plea..se..(Y/n).." He tugged at your shirt in plea.

"All right," you sighed smiling slightly "But just this once 'k shadow"

He smiled and spoke again but quietly this time "Than..an..k y...y...ou ..(Y/n)..."

As you woke up with the dawn as usual you looked at Shadow, "His sleeping face is so gentle who'd of guessed he acts so weird sometimes." You quietly spoke while writing a note telling him where you were if he woke up. You attached the note to his forehead where he'd find it no matter what, after doing so you left. "Mmm, best go find some berries and get a bird for breakfast" you spoke while stretching. As you walked you found the perfect type of berries to go with the Takkuri bird you shot down from the sky using your bow a short while ago.
