A/n-this is all Shadow's pov and it takes place the day Dark got you.

Pacing around our inn room waiting for (y/n), I hummed a tune that was unique to Kakariko village only. "la da da la da da la dadadada da da dada da da da dadadan. " I didn't care how much rain it would bring to me either.

Vaati hearing me looked up furiously from his book. Closing his eye he calmly told me, "Shadow shut your ass, I know what that song does dumbass. Besides you know how much I hate the rain." Ignoring him as I kept humming it I thought only of my little angel (y/n). This went on for about an hour or so, until Vaati threw his book at me. "Shut the fuck up Shadow!" He shrieked as the book hit me in the back of the head.

Another two hours passed and (y/n) still wasn't back yet, it was approaching nightfall as of now. Waiting for her I silently prayed to my lord of the darkness for her safety, and for me to be able to see her heartwarming face. Just as a had finished wishing for (y/n)'s return Bethany ran into the room with her cheeks flushed and dripping with wet tears, "SHADOW!!! VAATI!!! COME DOWNSTAIRS QUICKLY!!!"

Vaati and I stared blankly at the door as it slammed shut; we looked at each other with our red eyes, "What the hell was that about....." Vaati trailed of dropping his book in shock.

I stood there stunned then quietly said, "I don't know what the hell that was either, but she sounded concerned about something." I rubbed the back of my neck as I spoke on, "we should go see what it is...shouldn't we?"

Vaati cocked his head slightly to the right causing his hair to fall over his visible eye and told me trying to remain calm, "Y-yes we should, it could concern us and our plan for revenge on the Hylains." I sighed quickly grabbing my cap as we left the room having Vaati put out all of the candles with a single wave of his hand.

Once downstairs we saw all of the Happy hearth staff standing in a small area in the lobby. I spoke first ignoring Vaati's sharp glare that obviously said 'don't you dare' towards me, "So what the fucking hell is going on!?! Bethany you sounded like a nervous wreck, and if it has to do with (y/n) I swear to god I'll..." I got cut off as Vaati placed his pale purple hand over my mouth making a shush gesture as he did, even though I couldn't talk now.

Bethany solemnly looked at me and mumbled, "It is about (y/n)" bowing her head I could see tear drops gently dripping off of her pale white cheeks.

Feeling sorry for what I was going to do to her before I gently put my hand on her shoulder and said, "It's alright Bethany, she'll make back safely I know she will she's a strong person." Even though I knew that I was lying and had no clue about what (Y/n)'d do in this situation, and I didn't want to see Bethany cry. Well its not that I wanted her to cry but I can't stand it when girls cry it makes me feel like a bad person. Though when she buried her crying face into my tunic I gave out a girl like shriek of surprise.

Between her cries I heard Bethany trying to tell me what had happened, "Since (y/n) just went to, >hic< buy some tunics so th-that she c-c-could have so-ome o-of her own clothes. I-I thought she would >hic< come back s-safely. A-and Sh-sh-she didn't" Between her wails I heard the door to the inn creak slowly open.

Just walking in it was the five people Vaati and I needed to never meet up with; Quickly I whispered to Vaati, "quick go hide in our room, those are the ones looking for Zelda as well as (y/n). They are knights of Hyrule! Go quick!" Gently hugging Bethany I stroked her hair in a comforting manner.
