What are we even doing Elzo?

(A/n- this whole chapter is in Vio's pov)

It had been several days since we had left (y/n) in Vaati's grotto to protect everyone from probably the most dangerous man in Hylain history. I had doubts about leaving her there alone, after all she was the sheikah most affected by the war. Which would give her good reasons to lie and help Vaati escape his imprisonment.

After making it halfway back to Hyrule castle, having left (Y/n) to handle Vaati alone we took a rest by one of the many ponds in Hyrule. Eventually the one of us is Red spoke up, "Hey guys, I think we should decide something while we rest here..."

The Link in Green spoke first, "Yeah what is it?"

The other one of us in blue who was rinsing his face in the water growled, "the hell is it this time stupid!"

I spoke last out of the four of us, "Don't be afraid to speak up okay we'll listen to what you have to say."

The Link in Red looked at his hands and said, "I think that we should, uhm...choose names since it can be confusing to just call each other Link." He looked up with eager eyes at us other three, "t-that was all I just thought it would be a good idea, cause it's getting kinda confusing."

Elzo spoke up this time and told us, "Yes it would be best a benefit for all of us after all."

I sighed quietly as the one of in green (who was also wearing Elzo at the moment) ruffled the one ins red's hair, "So what d' you thing would be appropriate names for each of us?"

The one of us in blue spoke again, "it's probably something stupid though!" gritting his teeth.
"So what do you think it should be?" I asked the red one as I was glaring harshly at the one of us in Blue.

He played with his hands again and said, "The color of our clothes, so uhm....Green for him, Red for me, ER Blue for him." and turning to me he said, "Purple..no violet how 'bout Vio so that it's more manly!?"

I cocked my head slightly and asked, "But isn't that a girls name? Well actually I don't mind so just uh..forget what I said " I was fine with the name it was just a little embarrassing to be called by a shortened version of the name violet.

Again right on cue Blue lashed out at Red, "Don't go changing my name you fucking dumb ass!"

I rolled my eyes and told him, "Hey, we're all technically the same person. Would you really want to hurt yourself physically?"

This time he lashed out at me, "who the hell do you think your talking to smart ass!" grabbing the collar of my tunic beginning to shake me, "Huh? Do you think that just because your the smart one you can decide shit on your own?!?" Green, Red and Elzo said nothing about it knowing that Blue would lash out at us again.

As of now our names were the color of our clothes, of course Blue still had his issues. While we were in the field we saw Arcy and her daughter Natalie from the castle. The other three were delighted to see her but I on the other tried to warn them, "Not all at once you idiots it's strange enough that there's four of us!" They ignored me though so my only choice was to chase after them still shouting for them to stop.

When Arcy and Natalie saw us they were panicked, "N-no stay back you damn little monsters!" She screamed pointing a stick at us in her defense.

Red began to cry in response to her hostility, "M-monsters! T-that's so m-mean!!!"

Green on the other hand remained very calm and asked, "what do you mean by monsters Arcy? It's just me Link I just puled the four sword from it's pedestal and this is sorta what happened"

Blue and I each took a step forward and Natalie(she's seven) ran in front of us and smacked me on the cheek, "How stupid can one person be!?!?? Link what happened to Zelda we looked all over the castle for her and couldn't find her any where" as Natalie ran to each of us crying that out and hitting us each in return.

I bowed my head in shame and mumbled "While we were with her checking the seal s-she was taken by someone"

Natalie ran back over to me and asked shyly, "C-can you please uh, say that a bit louder?"

After the incident with Arcy and Natalie we all four ran as fast as our feet would carry us to the castle hoping that we weren't already to late. Green was most worried for Zelda as we reached castle town there was a slight problem.

Blue facepalmed and muttered, "fuck I fogot it was almost time for the annual picori festival!"

Red walked over to Blue and asked, "How could you forget we've gone with Princess Zelda every year since we were children?" this caused him to become upset and began to cry again.

Ignoring the other two Green walked over to me and asked, "Hey Vio, why are you so quiet? You can talk whenever you want you know."

I smiled at Green and said, "oh, that's just because talking really isn't my thing, besides I don't mind being quiet."

Green shrugged his shoulders and told me, "Okay but remember you have as much right to speak as any of us do." Once through the crowd preparing for the festival in Hyrule field we took a break near Lon Lon Ranch. While we were resting I asked Elzo, "So, Elzo what excatly are we suppossed to do to get Zelda back? I know your the one in charge, not Green. After all we are headed towards the remains of a picori village near Zora's domain."

Elzo clucked his tongue startling Red and said, "it's impossible to hide anything from you Vio, your mind is sharp, I like that! And they refer to themselves as minish, not picori" as he hopped off of Green's head he continued, "yes we are heading to that village, I sense one of the missing maidens is near there."

Blue became angered quite quickly after hearing this, "What about Zelda!?!? She matters too damn it!" Stomping his foot as hard as possible.

Elzo bowed his head and said, "This is the second time something like this has happened in Hyrule. The first time it was Vaati's father and this time it's him. from what I know saving the kidnapped girls is the first thing we must do..."

Later after we had reached the village princess Ruto our fiancée whom forced herself upon us, jumped on blue screaming and hitting him. "Link!! what happened to your promise of marrying me! I've been waiting six years damn you! becoming my husband should be top priority not being a traveling hero!"

Blue being the idiot he was bopped her on the head and sternly told her, "Look up and around you can't you see that there are four of us?" he gestured to us other three and we all greeted her in our own way.

Green hugged her and said, "Hey Ruto, been a long time hasn't it."

Red shook her hand(Fin?) and shook it, "Great to see you again Princess Ruto!"

Lastly I bowed and kissed her hand(fin) telling her, "It's a pleasure to be in your presence again lady Ruto."
