Why....

I stared blankly at Dark, why wouldn't he leave me alone? "Why?" I asked holding Shadow tightly protecting him from anymore harm, "Why are you doing this to us? We've never done anything to you, so why are you hurting us?"

​"Because you belong to me!" He said smiling, "It's your fate to be mine (Y/n) darling."

"No.." I mumbled, "I belong to those whom I choose, not those whom have chosen me." I hugged him Shadow even closer as I spoke taking care to not pressure his wounds. "Look you...you god damn motherfucking bastard leave Vaati out of this. Bring no more innocent people into our fight, for it is our fight and no one else's."

"(Y/n)....?" I heard Vaati's voice and looked at him, "What has this man done to you? You're different from before, more stubborn about things."

​I growled, "Far to much to be forgiven especially what he did not so long ago to Shadow! RIGHT BEFORE ME!"

"(J/n)!" Vio ran in the room and shoved me behind him, " Bist du in Ordnung? Ich bin hierher gekommen, um Sie zu warnen, Dark, er ist hier, um Sie zu zwingen, ihn zu heiraten!{1}"

"What!?!" Vaati shouted at Vio, "He wants to force her to marry him? She's taken!"

I stared for a moment and then said, "Wait....You can understand him Vaati?" I held Shadow still, but I was gently brushing his vivid purple hair out of his beautiful face this time.

"Well of course, I'm not an idiot like you (Y/n)." He grinned despite the situation.

"PAY ATTENTION TO ME AND ONLY ME (Y/N) GODDESS DAMN IT!" Yelled Dark beginning to push the sword tip into Vaati's neck.

"KHHGH!"

"Sie genau dort zu stoppen ! Halten Sie die, die nichts mit ihr aus dem Spiel zu tun haben{2}!" yelled Vio at Dark charging at him sword drawn.

"NO VIO DON'T DO IT WHILE VATTI'S RIGHT DAMN THERE!" I screamed knowing that I was telling him what I'd truly done. I held Shadow tighter in my arms as I spoke, no matter what I couldn't let Dark get near him again. Silently I let tears fall from my eyes as I said again, "Vio don't please. Vaati he's my friend."

Dark grinned at what I'd done then held Vaati closer, "So she admits it does she? Oh well I might as well take 'Him' to see his father. Anyways I'll be back for you (Y/n) my precious little sheikah." Though I was disgusted with myself for opening my fat mouth, I decided that it was now or never to be rid of him. Silently I laid Shadow upon the floor and drew a weapon. "Oh so the little one wants to fight now as well? No matter the boss will like you either way, you're pretty and ferocious!"

"(Y/N)!" yelled Vaati, "What the hell are you doing!?! This isn't a problem, worry about Shadow not me! He needs you I do not! RUN GODDESS DAMN IT (Y/N)!" Despite what Vaati told me I continued my charge knowing exactly what I was about to do. Dark had to die and now.

I knew that there was no longer a choice of letting Dark live. He was now bringing a second somewhat innocent person into our battle, the battle between Hylain and Sheikah that had never truly come to and end; Most of the Sheikah had been killed on treason before the papers were written, but no one ever signed those papers. I knew as of now what I must do, there was no other choice left now because of him. Doing this would make me no better than the Hylians who I oh so despised in my own eyes; Would Shadow still be able to accept me after I'd murdered someone? This slight hesitation in my charge would have killed me if Vio and Vaati hadn't been there with me.

"(Y/N)!" Vaati yelled struggling to move foarwards to help me, causing Dark's blade to dig deeper into his throat. "kkggh!"

Vio hadd blocked the attack just barely in time. "(Y/n)! Are you alright? None of them got you?" I looked at what Vio hand hit with his sword, they looked as if they were eyerok monsters from the temple in Kakario village.

"Y-yeah...." I told Vio carefully watching they eyeroks' they could be chaotic when angry and left at their own will. "Vio these are eyeroks they wont hurt me, we just can't let them form into a stone Arraghus. If they start to try and group together kill them."

"(Y/n) you *kggh* know of the Stone Arraghus?" gasped Vaati silently creating a wind spell the would remove Dark from him.

"Well of course I do," I sighed telling them the truth, "My mother Adraphine, she was the one keeping him contained in the temple. Well s-she did until..." It was then that I could no longer hold back my tears of despair.

"(Y...../n.....)" I heard a familiar voice weakly whisper behind me, "Do...n't....cry....it....'s....all...go....ing...to...be...ok...ay"

I stiffled a sob before looking behind me, Shadow was awake and had somehow propped himself up against a book shelf in the room. "S-shadow is that really y-you?"

"The one and only!" he laughed and gave me a comforting grin and winked, "Kick his ass for me my Angel!"

"So this is the one who you're dating?" asked Vio watching the eyeroks as I had asked him to.

"Yes it is!" I grinned through my tears that were steadily slowing.

"Good to know that he's okay"

"GOD FUCKING DAMNIT HE DIDN'T DIE!"

"(Y/n) quick turn around!" whisper shouted Shadow.

"Will do Fire eyes!" I smiled brighter and gave him a quick kiss and then turned to face Dark, "Look you god damn motherfucking bastard, I want to know who you really are and now! Also a single question for you as well." I changed the tone of my voice and asked, "Why me? There are hundreds of girls in Hyrule, why me an orphaned Sheikah girl?"

This caused Dark to drop his sword (not that he realized it) and begin to laugh hysterically, due to him dropping his sword Vaati was released. "Oh (Y/n)! You are such a stupid clueless girl! 'Why me' you ask! 'Stop that' you say!"

I knew that this was the perfect time to attack, seeing that Dark was offgaurd at the moment. I looked over at Vaati to see how far his spell was and he looked up and mouthed, 'Five more minutes' and continued.

"Why are you laughing asshole? Do you find my suffering funny hmm?" I snarled starting an act to keep Dark busy.

"Oh? Why of course not (Y/n), why would I laugh at you?" He snickered, "You're practiclly the only good thing in my life in this damned light realm."

"Fuck you! You know that's not what I meant! Answer me truthfully this time!" I looked over at Vaati, he was almost ready. Deciding that it was now or never I formed myself into Dark and said as him, "How 'bout now? Will yo answer your own questions?"

"DAMN YOU (Y/N) DON'T MOCK ME AS ME YOU DAMNED WITCH!"

"Wagen Sie es nicht nennen sie eine Hexe Sie Dämon!{3}" Vio yelled.

"NOW VAATI!" I shouted trusting open the window as I was returning to myself, then I ducked and covered my head as Vaati threw the spell at Dark.
