The look in her eyes shows a sadness,
Hidden deep within her heart.
But you don't look her in the eyes,
Which is tearing her soul apart.
Her smile is so beautiful,
It lights up her whole face.
But you can't tell it's fake,
You're staring off into space.
She is that girl that sits in the back,
Never talking when there is no need.
And her voice always trembles,
Whenever the teacher tells her to read.
You would have to be both blind and deaf,
To not see the suffering in her eyes.
I stand by her side but she refuses,
Because you are the one for who she cries.
She only wants you, man,
Why can't you see through the blur?
I can't be what she wants me to be,
Because what she wants is right in front of her.
She would go through hell,
And endure it without making a sound.
But you are still out of reach,
So turn the fuck around.
