Be The Change

I write words to make a difference,

To try and make them mean a lot.

I write them to revive your heart,

To make you see what you forgot.

You think your life is the hardest,

Because it's a human thing to do.

But you would be shocked,

When you change your view.

You have to fight and be strong,

That's only possible when you fight for others.

We are all different but still the same,

Because we're all sisters and brothers.

I'm not talking about religion,

Even without that we all have a connection.

No matter how much we hurt,

We always look for affection.

I write words to make you see,

That you are never alone.

When you reach out your hand,

You can change the unknown.

So take their hand and smile,

It might change more than you think.

Don't wait for someone else to do it,

It might be too late when you blink.

Don't be afraid to be the change.
