Violence Isn't Always Violence

Violence is bad, 

Unless it's to protect. 

So what about murder, 

Does it deserve respect? 

How thin is the line really, 

And is it that easily crossed? 

If you make the choice, 

Then what will it cost? 

Bad isn't always just bad, 

Violence can only be fought with violence. 

So does it make you bad, 

If you forget to protect the silence? 

But for jail it's all the same, 

Doesn't matter what your reasons are. 

They say to fight for yourself, 

But if you do, it won't get you far. 

Kill or be killed, 

But punishment either way. 

Why do they teach you to live, 

If it's going to be taken away? 

When there are no choices, 

And you are forced to make one. 

What's the difference between bad and bad, 

What's the difference between a fist and a gun? 

Violence isn't always violence.
