The Definition Of Love

They say knowledge comes out of books,

So then why are you closing them now?

Look up the definition of love,

Does it speak of genders somehow?

Love is a passionate feeling for another person,

For a lover, child or for a friend.

So when it comes to the same gender,

Is that where love comes to an end?

No, because it's not about gender,

There is no forbidden or allowed.

We are all people of flesh and blood,

And love should always make you proud.

The definition of love doesn't speak,

Of skin color or differences in weight.

It's not about disabilities or perfection,

It speaks of love and not of hate.

We all want someone to come home to,

And someone to hold when we get lonely.

We aren't born racist or homophobic,

It's the fault of how we were raised only.

But if you look at the lesbian couple,

You don't see their lower parts, am I right?

You see lips connection in passion,

So stop being so stupid and uptight.

If you look at the black guy and white woman,

You don't see their colors, but you see lovers.

You too would be happy to have someone,

When you're sick or your heart recovers.

I don't get what the big deal is,

Since when does love have rules?

If you tell others their love is wrong,

It's not them that are being fools.

So no matter what you look like,

Or what you have in your pants.

If you stop looking and start feeling,

You will know of the wishes love grants.

A kiss is a kiss,

It's that easy.

So stop being an asshole,

And let's be cheesy.

Love is love.
