Once the guy had left, I informed Mr. Williams that the guy who was just in here was the one who called me. I recognized his voice.

"George Clancy?" He arched an eyebrow. I know it may seem like I'm picking on an innocent guy but I'm really not. George is the owner of the voice. "That's absurd, Ms. Linn. Mr. Clancy is an honor student, quarterback of the football team and captain of the student council for the class of 2019."

Woah. "Mr. Williams, I assure you that I am not making a lie. He is the owner of the voice who threatened me by voicemail."

Mr. Williams stared at me for quite some time before calling his secretary. "Could you bring in Mr. George Clancy, Nancy?" He then hung up the phone and we waited a few minutes before George walked in.

"You called for me." He stated rather than questioned. Mr. Williams nodded and gestured toward me, "Ms. Linn here has recently been threatened by voicemail." He turned toward his computer and typed something up.

"Really?" George faked curiosity, "Do you know by who?"

Mr. Williams printed a sheet of paper out and handed it to George, "By you, the number that called Ms. Linn is registered under your name."

George clenched his teeth, "What are you implying, Williams?" He glared down at me for a second before looking at Brenda then back at the principal. "If you think I'm bullying her then you're wrong."

"Ms. Linn, play the voicemail again, please." Mr. Williams demanded and I played it again. "That is your voice, is it not?"

George stayed silent.

Mr. Williams sighed, "You won't be playing Friday night, you're suspended for a week, Mr. Clancy."

"That's not fair!" George argues through gritted teeth, fists clenched. "You know I'm the best player, our team will lose, Williams!"

"Then I suppose the team will have to thank you for that, won't they." Mr. Williams stated firmly. "On top of your suspension and not participating in the homecoming game, you are to write an apology letter to Ms. Linn and make it appropriate, Mr. Clancy."

Mr. Williams allowed Brenda and I to leave while George remained in his office until someone came to pick him up.
