Lucy's Pov

I had made some coffee for Tom and my mom when I woke up since they were the only two awake at the time. Not including Serena and Drake, they wake up early for their age. How do they even get the energy? I was having a peaceful morning so far. That is, until Sherry showed up.

"Good morning!" Sherry chirps her way into the kitchen. "Yum, I smell coffee." She pecks Toms cheek and he smiles. I grab the spoons after Tom and mom finished using them and place them in the sink.

"Go ahead and get some, Sherry. Lucille made enough." Mom offers kindly. If she were to know the kind of sister she has, she wouldn't be as nice.

"Actually, I didnt." I deadpan, "I made for two cups only." That said, I escort myself to my bedroom before they dared to speak to me.

"Morning, love" Gregg's voice soothes me on the other side of the phone. I'm glad he called me because I really need someone to keep me calm right now. Sherry has been on my nerves all day; I still can't get Sherry and dad in the living room last night out of my head. I can't seem to wrap my mind around it. Why would they do that?

My mother has been there for my father on multiple occasions even if she disapproved of some of the crap he has pulled, she still sucked it up and supported him because that it what a married couple should do. Support each other to the ends of the Earth.

My mother has been there for Sherry, too. If Sherry needed anything, mom helped her. Sherry was devastated on what ever dramatic event she had going on. Mom never left her side, not even when grandma and grandpa passed. Sherry was hurt and cried for what seemed like eternity. I remember seeing mom cry more but she still sucked it up and reassured her younger sister.

It just doesn't make any sense. Mom has been there for them so why did they have to backstab her? Maybe they're just evil. Yeah, maybe they love seeing people suffer. Who knows, maybe they -

"Love? Are you there?" Gregg's voice pulls me out of my thoughts.

I clear my throat, "Yeah. Sorry." I forgot he was on the phone.

"It's alright, love" yet he still comprehends me, how adorable is that? "are you alright?"

I nod but realize he can't see me nodding so I answer him. I reassuringly lie to him and say I am fine when really I'm not.

"Love, I suppose I will be heading home sooner than I thought."

"Really?" I blurt rather quickly and it earns me a sweet chuckle from him. In my defense, I missed him and couldn't wait to have him here again.

"Yes. Apparently my mother had not planned on staying here for long and she told pops that we are going home in a few days meaning I could spend New Year's with you."

"That is the beat news I have heard in all winter vacation!" I smile like an idiot to the phone, laughing softly to myself. "I can't wait to finally see you again!"

"Neither can I, my dear. I have been yearning for your beautiful smile." He soothes, I can't even remember why I was angry before.

Before i can speak the door to my room makes a loud banging noise. Now I remember.

"What was that?" Gregg asks. He heard it as well.

"Probably someone who wants to pry me out of my room."

"Darling, maybe you should open the door. It isn't healthy to be locked up in your bedroom all day, besides they could need you."

"I doubt it." I mumble, fumbling with my hair. "I don't really think they want some negative attitude around them."

"What's the matter?" He seems truly concerned. I get interrupted before I could speak.

"Lucille!" Sherry chirps, "Open the door."

"Was that your mom?" Gregg asks. I haven't told him about Sherry and her family being here. "I'll call you later, my dear."

But I don't want to see them. I hang up and remain on my bed forgetting that Sherry is at the door. "Lucille, open the door." She repeats, more angrily.

I groan and pull the door open. "What do you want?"

"Can I come in?"

"You know, now is a bad time." I check the nonexistent watch on my wrist. "How about when your done backstabbing my mother?"

She pushes me back into my room roughly and let's herself in. "You're attitude needs to stop."

"So does your betrayal." I state. Sherry rewards me with a frown and I - being the brat I can be - frown back. "Why do you act so offended? You basically brought this upon yourself."

Sherry takes a deep, frustrated breath. "Your such a little brat," Stating the obvious. "You have no idea who your messing with. I'm not offended and I can stay here all day and tell you that I don't feel anything about going behind your mom's back but talking to you is a waste of time."

"You finally say something right, Sherry." I smile devilshly as she rises up and heads to my door.

"Aunt Sherry to you." She hisses. I give her another smirk. Does she really think she can still be considered my aunt when she isn't like most aunts. Aunts don't betray their sisters. Aunts don't fuck their sisters husband.

"You stopped being an aunt the moment I caught you with my father."

"In that case, you stopped being my niece." She argues.

I laugh. "I'm glad I'm not your niece! I don't want shit with a cold hearted bitch like you."

"Your going to eat your words!" She shouts.

I smirk confidently, "Not if you eat them first, Sherry."
