Lucy's Pov

How can I be so stupid!? How did I not remember to cover the marks?! Mrs. Sulkin looked as if she was ready to rat me out to Gregg. Gregg's mother wouldn't be that rude or vicious, would she? What am I saying? Of course she won't! She loves Gregg and just like every mother in the world, she wants him to be satisfied. To be content with what he chooses and from my point of view, Gregg is pretty content with me. Right? Or are you making yourself think that, Lucille?

I'm going insane.

"You alright?" Sherry shows up out of nowhere at my bedroom door with that stupid smirk that shows her true persona.

"Sherry," I hiss, rolling my eyes. "Not now. I'm not in the mood to deal with a whore right now." Sherry laughs, she enjoys seeing me angry, just like my dad does. To think that she even cared about me before is completely wrong.

"Geez," She continues to smirk. "I suppose the dinner with your man's family didn't go so well?" I glare at her as a warning to get out of my bedroom before I lose control and snap. Why am I so angry right now? Its your fears; your worries. "Or did it go just like you planned, my dearest Lucille?"

"Get the fuck out!" I bark, I don't want to yell because I don't want to cause a scene here and I most definitely don't want my mother to come rushing in, asking what the problem is.

Because if she does, I will tell her exactly who her sister is. I'll tell her that Sherry is a filthy backstabber; that her and my father have been sneaking around for years behind her back. "Don't make me say it again, I already told you once."

"If you think giving me your attitude will scare me, your wrong." Her hand lands on her hips, "Do you know why, Lucille?" She's tempting me, my eyes narrow. "Because your mother will believe me more than she'll believe you. I can tell your mom a ridiculous lie and you can tell her the disgusting truth but she will still believe me. This battle only has one winner and that's me."

"Bitch." I blurt and she gasps dramatically. "Your a cold-hearted bitch. You go around fucking your sisters husband and you still have the nerve to challenge me." I scoff bitterly, watching as her face turns red of anger. "My mom won't like the truth but I know she will believe me, she never doubts me. Your her sister but I'm her daughter. You brought this fight on your own, Sherry. Now it's your job to suck it up like you sucked my fathers dick and get the fuck out of my room."

Sherry frowns; her glare toward me allows me to see the true person she is - a whore and a backstabber who never gave a damn about her family. "I don't know what happened at your mans house but I do know that if you ever dare to insult me or threaten me again, you will meet the monster side of me." She attempts to scare me but I laugh it off. "I'm not bluffing either!"

"Geez, here I was thinking that you couldn't get worse, but thank you. Thanks for showing me your true colors. Now, all that is left is for my mother to see who you are - the real you." I smirk, confidently. "I don't bluff either and I didn't threaten you. I warned you because I don't threat, I promise." Sherry huffs and storms back to her husband. I slam the door shut and secure it with lock, wouldn't want her trespassing again, would we.

The next day my mother and Sherry drag me along to a shopping spree before Sherry has to go back to her house. "How did meeting your boyfriends family go?" my mother tries to pry a conversation with me once she notices that I have not spoken a word since we had climbed into the car. I really don't want to talk to anyone right now, especially not with Sherry present.

"About that," Sherry speaks. "I don't think it was a very good choice of you and your husband to allow little Lucille out late at night with her boyfriend, who knows what they could have done." She gives me an evil glare that rapidly transforms into an innocent smile so that my mother wouldn't see. I glance at my mother, her face is scrunched up. I see what this bitch is doing.

"You know, Sherry." Mom begins, "I have complete trust in my daughter. If she did something that she knows I may have not approved of then that would be on her, however, I trust Lucille with everything and she knows she can trust me as well. If I let her out late, it is my decision and it is also not your concern." I can't help but smile at the way my mom had put Sherry in her place.

"Besides," I finally speak up and narrow my eyes at Sherry who is walking on the other side of my mother. "I wouldn't betray my mothers trust. Others find it really easy but I wouldn't dare to cause her harm." Sherry glares at me angrily as if she's trying to make me take back what I had already said but that won't be happening anytime soon.
