Lucy's Pov

Two men whom I don't know are seated across from my father. One of the men is older than the other, he has wrinkles on his face, bags under his light brown eyes and his hair is losing color. I'm not sure how old he is but he looks around the age of early forties. The younger man looks similar to him, without the bags under his eyes and wrinkles circled on his face. His hair is a dark color brown, unlike the other man's and his eyes are the same light brown color.

"What is it?" I deadpan.

"She's a feisty one, now isn't she?" The older man asks, I cock an eyebrow at him. So what if I'm fiesty?

"Indeed she is, Mr. Smith." My father tells him. Mr. Smith? He loves to get me riled up no matter who surrounds us.

"What do you think of her, Joel?" Mr. Smith asks the other man. Why would Joel have to say something about me? I don't care what he thinks!

Joel eyes me from head to toe, making me feel unease. Joel smiles slightly and maintains his eyes on me, "She's perfect. Her body is great, her face could use some more makeup and her hair could be styled better but she's fine."

Who the fuck does he think he is to criticize me? My hair and face need some touching up? What the fuck? I turn to dad angrily, "You're selling my innocence behind mom's back! I told you I wasn't going to do that!"

"And her attitude needs to change." Joel continues, frowning.

I shoot daggers at him with my eyes, "Who are you to criticize me?! Your not Mr. Good Charms either! I don't care if you think I'm pretty or not, I won't fuck you! The deal is off, I never agreed to it in the fucking first place!"

"Lucille, these two men are my boss and his son. Show more respect." Dad growls, rising from his seat.

Joel stands up, ordering my dad to take a seat as he approaches me. "Listen, girlie. You were sold, now you must deliver. If you don't, I'll sue you."

I laugh humorlessly, "You really think that'll scare me? You're probably 20 or older, I'm barely 18. If anything, I can sue you for attempting to corrupt a minor."

"You're no longer a minor," He hisses, biting back a laugh.

I nod, "Indeed, but I'm a pretty good actress. I can make myself cry as I tell the courtroom that you and our fathers have tried to sell my virginity before I turned the legal age."

Dad's face turned pale. "You wouldn't dare." Joel challenges.

I chuckle evilly, "Try me."
