Lucy's Pov

"Gregg told me he was planning on taking you on a date today, cancel it."

I glared at Jake's message, how dare he tell me to cancel something that I want to go to? Why does he care anyway? It's not like he has any hold on me, he can't tell me what I can and cannot do.

"You look all serious now," Gregg comments. We had stopped by a café shop for some morning coffee and donuts. "Did Jake send you a message?" I continued to look at him in confusion so he spoke again. "He sent me one, telling me to pull a dick move and stand you up."

That little -

"He told me to cancel it." I mutter, Gregg smiles sheepishly. "I don't want to cancel it, I won't." I inform him, he smiles widely.

"Great because I really like you, Lucille." I blushed at his comment and he slipped his hand above mine. "You're adorable in the color red." I let out a laugh.

The rest of the time in the café, we spent it getting to know each other more. I've learned, so far, that he doesn't go to my school and that he isn't very fond of Jake.

I told him about Jake's infidelity and he frowned, stating he dislikes him more now. That made me laugh a little.

"Shall we head on to our next part of the date?" Gregg holds his arm out for me to grab. I take it and he leads me to his car, again.

♡♡♡♡

"You come here often?" I ask, staring off into the beautiful view oft mother nature. It was like those cliché stories where the girl's date takes her to a far off field in their town.

Gregg nods, "Only when I want some peace." We took a seat on the green grass and talked about his memories in this place. "I remember finding this place on accident," He says. "I was driving in angrily and made a wrong turn. I stumbled upon this place and my anger evaporated into thin air. I've been coming here ever since."

I want to know what had him so worked up but I feel it's personal. "Have you ever seen anyone else up here before?"

Gregg turned red, "Yeah, actually." He rubbed the back of his neck and continued. "I came up here one day and saw a couple fucking each other's brains out. You'd think they'd have something to cover them up but they didn't. I ran off fast, the girl had no shame, she embraced her body and didn't bother to hide it. The guy, however, was angry."

I laughed loudly, "and you still came back?" He chuckled.

"It took me a long time to come back up here." We laughed some more and before we knew it, we spent two hours in this hideout.

11:45 a.m, we were back in the car driving to go catch a movie.

♡♡♡♡

"I feel like you're spending to much," I mumbled shyly once the movie had finished. It's now 2:50 p.m., the movie began at 12:15.

Gregg waved me off, "Nonsense, my dear. Would you like a frappucino?" He gestured to the Starbucks shop ahead of us.

I cocked an eyebrow. "If you let me pay for it, sure." He stayed silent for a few seconds before smiling, "Alright."

♡♡♡♡

"That was unfair." I pout, "You knew the barista, you probably gave him the signal to not accept my payment."

Gregg laughed, "I'd never allow a girl to pay for me. You're a princess, not anything less. Let me treat you like a princess."

We were parked outside of The Old Spaghetti Factory. I didn't say anything, I liked his comment but I couldn't tell him that.

Gregg rushes to the other side of the car and holds his hand out as he opens the door for me, again. I realize that he's a gentleman.

We walk hand in hand into the restaurant and I'm utterly amazed, everything looks so beautiful it's as if I'm in a different era. Gregg and I are shown to our seats before we give the waitress our order: Two cokes, sicilian garlic cheese bread, and their famous baked lasagna.

We both ate our meals and laughed our butts off so hard that we managed to get some glances from the other clients here. We're lucky that the manager didn't come and ask us to get out.
