TEARS were running down Stella's cheeks nonstop. She couldn't calm herself down because she just kept thinking about it.
Derek Hale is her father.
She found out who her father was finally after 17 years of wondering about his existence. Wondering whether he really didn't want her and left Kate the second he found out about her. She wanted to know the truth. No matter how much it was going to hurt her.
Stella kept running her hands through her hair. Something she did when she was nervous. Which she was at that moment.
Stella opened the door to his loft, knowing the way to get in already.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Stella managed to speak when she started to cry harder just by looking at the man that was missing from her entire life.
Derek turned around when he heard her voice. His daughters voice.
His heart broke into a million of pieces by staring at her broken figure. She was a badass girl who was able to kickass but she was also fragile when it came to things like her personal life.

"I didn't know how to come up to you. I was scared." Derek admitted while Stella just scoffed and shook her head, looking away from him.
"Scared of what? Having a daughter? Then you shouldn't have had sex at such a young age, Derek." She says harshly making him flinch slightly at her calling him by his first name.
It didn't bother him before because he didn't know that she was his daughter. But, now that he knows. He'd like to have her call him dad. Although he did understand why she wouldn't want to call him that just yet. The actual thought of her calling him dad made his heart warm up. It made him...happy.
"Don't do that. Don't assume that I didn't want you because trust me, I would have wanted you the second I found out about you." The second those words came out of his mouth made Stella slowly walk closer towards him.
"I'm not assuming. My mom told me that you didn't want me. She said... she said you left me."
"I would never abandon my family, Stella. Ever since I found out about you being my daughter, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Every single day I wake up and I think to myself that if I didn't let Kate shut me out then maybe I would have known about you. And although I wouldn't have stayed with your mother. I would still be with you." Derek tells her honestly.
Stella didn't know what else to say or do as she stopped walking. Standing right in front of him. She looked into his green eyes that she never thought her father would have. She always had an image of her father having the same brown eyes that she had. But, green was definitely fine.
"Really?" Stella voice broke as she asked in surprise, not familiar with having a loving parent who actually cared about her.
Stiles might've lost his mother a while back but he still had a parent to go home to that loved him. Even though Stiles would be such a pain in the ass to Noah. Noah still loved his son and would do anything for him.
Allison had lost her mother not that long ago but still had her father. Chris would have gave up his life in order to save his daughters life.
Lydia had divorced parents but even though she rarely saw her father she still had her mother, Natalie. Now, Natalie might be clueless to everything that's going on and might make small mistakes but she still cared for her daughter.
And finally, Scott had both of his parents. Yes, his father might've been an alcohol and not actually a father considering he was rarely at home. But, he was starting to learn from his mistakes over the years and is actually making an effort to be in his sons life. He seems to want to change for the better for him. With everything that happened with his father. Scott had his mother, Melissa. Melissa always taking his side on everything even if he ended up being wrong. She would support her son with anything and would do absolutely anything for him. Hell, she worked late night shifts in order to get more money to be able to support herself and her son.
Stella had no one. Yes, she did have her Uncle Chris. But, he wasn't her father and she wasn't able to see him that often over the years until she moved in with him in Beacon Hills a couple months ago. She also had her mother but she was an alcohol and such an abusive mother. Kate might not have abused her physically but she abused her emotionally. She didn't have a father to protect her, take her to father daughter dances, or let her paint his nails with a bright pink.
She'd walk home from school every day because her mother was too busy on a hunting trip or too busy getting wasted at some bar and hooking up with some random man. Stella would go home every single time because she knew that if she ran away that Allison would have gotten worried. She knew that Kate wouldn't have cared about her. In fact, Stella would think that Kate would have felt relieved that her daughter finally had the guts to leave. But, Stella couldn't have done anything to hurt Allison.
Plus, she didn't have a job. So that meant she didn't have any money. She'd rather see her mom come home drunk or pissed every day than to sleep in an unknown place and starve to death.
So hearing Dereks words shocked the hell out of her. She would've thought that her father would end up hating her as well. Because apparently she just wasn't good with parents.
"Yeah wh-" He started to talk but the second he confirmed that he was telling the truth Stella wrapped her arms around him and started to cry into his chest.
Usually, Derek didn't like people hugging him. As a matter of fact he didn't like people touching him. But the way Stella was hugging him made him go from big bad wolf to a loving father who didn't care about going soft for his little girl.
"I've had a hole in my heart for seventeen years and you've just filled it in. Please don't ever leave me again." Her voice cracked causing him to tighten his grip on her trying his hardest not to cry but this was his daughter.
"I promise to never leave you, okay? I would never abandon you, Stella. Remember that." He whispered before placing a kiss on the top of her head and started to rub her back.
"Does this mean that I can have tea parties with you and mr. pickles?" Stella asked before erupting into a laugh while Derek just shook his head.
"Aren't you a little too old for tea parties?"
"You are never too old for tea parties." Stella says in fake shock before closing her eyes and leaned her head against his chest, taking the moment as long as she can, "But if you let me paint your toe nails i'll forget about the tea party."
"If anyone hears about my nails being painted I will kill Stiles."
"Why Stiles?"
"Because why not Stiles? I can't kill my daughter but I can kill her boyfriend." He says making her let out another laugh.
