I stood there on my own, staring over at Riley. We made a promise and now that promise will never come true. It's not her fault, but it tears me up inside. Knowing what we could have been. After all the trouble before hand, I'm just a stranger to her. Nothing more then a weird new boy at the school. The bell went for first lesson as they don't have morning reg in this school. Just my luck. Double maths. First lesson of this school in room 18. I followed the arrows to room 18. By the time I got there everyone else was already there. 'Right everyone, This is James, it is first day at this school' I smile at my new maths class and spot Riley sitting at the back, no-one next to her. All the girls gave me a flirtatious smile and wave. If this was the old me, I would be all for that but there is only one girl I want and thats Riley. She may not remember the promise but I do, and I'm not gonna break it. I took the empty seat next to Riley. She looked at me and looked back down at her work. It's like the very first time I met her and didn't know her

James: Still shy are we

Riley: Look, I don't know who you are, but you must be some kind of stalker. I've never seen you before.

James: Ri, trust me, you have seen me before. You probably don't remember because of your fall. You don't remember important people, like me.

Riley: You're big headed aint ya. Sorry but I aint buying it you are a stalker of some sort

I don't know why but he does seem sorta familiar but that is impossible. I can't know him. I don't know him

James: And you think you're funny don't ya?

Riley: No I don't. Look you're new at this school. I have never met you in my life so yeah, you are probably getting me mixed up with someone else, oh and don't call me Ri.

James: Sorry, Riley, I promise you that I know you, really well

Riley: James, it don't matter

James: It does, I can prove it to you

Riley: No

James: But

Riley: No

James: Please, give me a chance

I look at James' eyes, full of hope.

Riley: I will think about it
