14- Internationals auditions

James
All of A-Troupe have to miss school today as Miss Kate is holding auditions for Internationals. I get to the Studio early as Riley told me to meet her there. I walk into studio A and see Riley performing a solo to when the war is over. It makes me feel like it is telling a story. That the war Riley has been fighting is over. Riley finishes her solo and I clap her, giving her a hug. About fourty five minutes late everyone is here.

Kate: Listen up dancers, we need people to audition for different things. We need a male soloist, a female soloist, a duet, a trio and a five group dance. So who wants to audition for male solo?

Eldon raises his hand

Kate: Well it looks like Eldon has the male solo. Who wants to audition for the trio

Thalia, Amanda and Giselle raise their hands along with Noah, Max and West

Right Okay, what about the five group?

Me, Max, Eldon, Noah and West raise our hands

Kate: Okay, duets?

Me and Riley, Thalia and West, Noah and Eldon and Max and Cierra raise our hands

Right, and female solos. No one raises there hands.

Riley
We all do our auditions and Miss Kate comes out to tell us who won.

Male solo: Eldon
Female solo:
Duet: James and Riley
Trio: Thalia, Amanda and Giselle
Five people dance: Boys

I am over the moon that me and James have the duet. I run up to James and jump into his arms. Everyone starts awwing and for once, I like it. Me and James head to the music room to work on our duet.

Riley: James, your being really quiet, are you okay?

James: Yeah, I just think you should go for female solo

Riley: What?

James: Riles, you can do it, I believe in you, you gotta believe in yourself.

Riley: you really think so?

James: I know so

I hug James to say thank you, and go to Miss Kates office

Miss Kate: What can I do for you Riley?

Riley: I EER...I would like to be female solo

Miss Kate: That's wonderful, I know you will do....

*ding*

Riley: One sec

I get my phone out of my pocket, a message from Charlie. I look up, stiff. Memories flow back into my head

Kate: Riley are you okay?

I look up at her shake my head and run out of there back into the music room. I run straight into James' arms. He wraps his arms around me. 'Riles, what's up?'

Riley: It's gonna happen, my life is over
