5- This can't be happening

James
I enter the school the next day, with the thought on my mind. Should I keep the promise or not. I walk to my locker and see Riley next to it, at her locker. She looks at me but looks straight back down. Awkwardness fills the air. I stared at Riley, but got stared out by a boy.

???:Who do you think you are staring at my girl for

James: Wait? Your girl?

???: Yes my girl. Charlies girl and noone elses so stop staring at home

I watched as Riley looked up at me then looked back down. I walked away, my fists clenched, how dare he call Riley his girl. Riley is my girl. Ever since I met her. I need her to realise. I look back down the corridor and see Riley and that Charlie boy hugging. This can't be happening

Charlie saw me staring at him again this morning. Its not the first time its happened. Everyone around the school knew i liked him. I have for ages. There is just that thing about him that pulled me towards him. I saw him stare back. This was so unlike him, he never had done before. He started walking upto me, which is when i realised that I was staring again. I watched him getting closer and closer trying not to make it obvious that i had been staring

Charlie: Hi Riley Raymond

Oh my gosh he knows my name

Riley: EEER hi, before you say anything I wasn't staring at you, I was just looking foward and i....

Charlie: Riley, I know you like me

Riley: What?

Charlie: Come on Riley, everyone knows

Riley: I know

Charlie: Well will you be my girlfriend?

Riley: Oh my god yes

I hug Charlie. He turns around to he's locker and I see James approaching. He opens his locker and it is just awkward. Since I turned his offer down lastnight. I felt his eyes staring at me. I know it hurt him when I told him that I like Charlie. I mean how do I know James was telling the truth? I feel him staring so I look up, our eyes meet and I quickly look down. I here Charlies voice, moaning at James for staring at me. I feel bad for James but Charlie is my boyfriend. Charlie puts his armz out so I hug him. However I can't help but look over Charlies shoulder at James, his head hung, he is hurting. Part of me feels like its my fault but I am not going date some weird boy who had my bracelet from somewhere

James
I turn around after taking one last look at Riley. I have lost my girl. Riley has moved on from me, so maybe I need to move on from Riley
