32. You think he's going to hit you (E)

You and Ethan were arguing over who you both hanging around with. He was annoyed you had been photographed with boys who were very touchy and close and you were annoyed he was out with a model that was known to be a slut.
This was your first argument so it was a big deal. Plus you had never seen Ethan so angry and defensive.

"I cannot argue with you over something so stupid. Nothing even happened between us!" He yelled.
"Nothing happened with me either but that's not allowed?! Double standards much." You shouted back.
He raised his hand to his hair, to tug at it as he was annoyed but you flinched and moved away from him. You felt stupid after you didn't feel any contact and saw his hurt and confused expression.

Ethan's POV
Y/N had just said I had double standards! Im just jealous because she is so beautiful she could leave me for anyone. I raised my hand to tug at my hair but I saw Y/N flinch away from me. I looked at her confused; why did she flinch. Did she think I was going to hit her... She did!
"You-you thought I would hit you?" I was embarrassed she would think that about me. I would never touch her in a bad way!
"I-I'm sorry. It's just instinct." She had tears rolling down her face so I pulled her into the tightest hug.
"I would never hurt you! You're too beautiful and I love you. I'm sorry." I said as I kissed her lips passionately.

We ended up laying in bed silently but it was a nice silence.
"Babe?" I asked.
"Yeah?" She asked. Turning to face me.
"You know I would never hit you right?" I was still worried she thought I would hurt her purposely.
"I know. I've just been hit before and I just do it automatically." Tears started to fall from her eyes so I wiped them away and hugged her tighter. "I love you Eth."
I felt so warm and bubbly inside when she says that. "I love you too Y/N."
