Was it Worth it?

Far from Peaceful

I could of sworn I heard someone banging on my door. As soon as I lift my head, the noise stopped. I guess I'm bugging. Time for me to go back to sleep. I put my head back down and closed my eye. Next thing I knew my covers were being pulled off of me. This must be a horrible dream

Just to make sure I'm not going crazy. I turned over and opened my eyes

Nah I must really be dreaming cause Ray can't be in my room. Right?

"Sasi get that ass up"

"So you really are here?" I grabbed the covers and closed my eyes

I felt like I was being kissed and I jumped up.

"I knew that would wake your ass up"

I sat up and looked at him

"Your roommate let me in. I'm dropping off these keys so you can get around until yours is fixed"

I just nodded my head

"Damn my kiss got you speechless?" He smirked

I just looked at him and thought about if I should punch him in his face now or later

"Ight I'm gone. Take care bae. If you behave you can get some more kisses"

I ignored him and went back to sleep.

2 minutes later my alarm went off. I got up and showered. I brushed my teeth and decided to put on a dark green skirt, black top, and my long cardigan. I put on some black flats. I grabbed a spray bottle and sprayed my hair with conditioner and water. I shook my curls out grabbed the keys, phone, bag, and ipad. I walked out my room locking my door and heated up a hot pocket.

I hope when I settle down that I can actually make breakfast instead of going with the fast and easy things. I walked out eating my hot pocket, and hit the button to the key for the car. I walked up to the car got in and pushed the button to start. He had a all black 2016 S550 Benz Coupe. I could get used to this .

I pulled up to my school parked it right next to my fake boo Melly. I walked to my work study job and put my bag down. I walked up next to Melly and hugged her. She smiled. She got off and we walked to her car.

"So umm about last night. Why am I hearing about this Sasi?"

I laughed

"This not funny. I thought you wanted to be lowkey"

"I did Mel but I also wanted to perform. Didn't think I would receive this much attention"

"Look at how much attention you receive all the time. They definitely know you now"

"I guess."

"But who car is this?"

"One of Riz homies"

"Cause I know it wasn't yours. But let me find out, you really apart of the team now"

I stuck my middle finger up at her. She just laughed

"I always been apart of the team. Nah Nino went out on me last night. He was right there and tried to fix it. We ended up calling a tow truck and he gave me his keys to get around"

"Can I be on the team too?"

I laughed

"Anyways..." I started to tell Melly about what happened this morning with Ray

"Girl he did not"

"Yes Melly he did."

"What he look like?"

I grabbed her phone because I left mine inside. I put in her password and went to Riz page. I clicked on a group picture he had and showed her Ray

"I would go straight just for him but he look like oh never mind"

I shook my head.

"Something is really wrong with you Melly"

"Girl stop calling me that shit"

"Nope"

"Ight I got you. "

Melly smirked and got in her car. I walked back inside and went and talked to my boss. I came back out and put a sticker on the car.

Not even 15 minutes into work, I had people coming to bother me at work

"So you just ignored my text last night?" Jai asked

"Girl, I had problems with Nino last night"

"Dang, but you famous now"

"Yea whatever. You feel better?"

"Somewhat my friend came earlier then expected. But how was the event?"

"Girl it was good. You would of enjoyed it"

"See I should of went. I got home changed and then went to the event here. I ran into ex"

I laughed at her

"See if you would of been with me you wouldn't of seen him"

"I know and I felt like shit"

"Did ya speak or anything?"

"No he just kept looking this way. Sasi it was awkward like ....." Jai gave me a face

"You should of seen the look on Ty face."

"Wait he was there?"

"Yes and I did Dear Ex Lover and so was your ex future bae"

"Yea we all know you did that"

"Ok let me continue then. At the end I smirked at him and changed the words around. I pulled out my phone and showed her the video of me that the girl next to me had took"

2 minutes later, Jai dropped my phone and left. I laughed and picked up my phone.

Let's just say that's how the rest of my day went, people were mad that I didn't tell them I was performing, or that they didn't know I was into spoken word, or why I ain't hit them back.

It's Friday and I wasn't supposed to be stressed. When my shift was over, I was so happy. I had gotten off at 5 and been there from 9. I walked to the car and then went to my job to pick up my pay stub. I was in and out and I was so happy.

I went to this seafood spot and got me some crab legs. Then I went home and ate my food while to watching Horror Movies.

I looked at my phone and saw Jai was calling.

"Can we go out please?"

"Hello to you too and sure?"

"Ight be ready in 2 hours. I'll pay for you to get in"

"OK" I hung up and looked at my phone. Guess I wouldn't be having a calm day.

Little did I know that my night wouldn't be peaceful either.
