Was it Worth it?

22 years later

I'm still with that annoying man. We have 4 grown children and two think that they both live at home. Another one came over for dinner almost every night well that is if I do cook. 

Ray and I did get remarried and been having fun since then. We still go on double dates with Riz and Nyla. My babygirl is about to make me a grandma. I don't know how I feel about that but Ray seems to be happy about that.

I was currently at the doctors with Riz. I was in the bathroom at the moment. Riz walked in

"Why didn't you knock"

"It ain't nothing I ain't seen before"

I finished up and met him outside back in the waiting area. As soon as I was about to sit down they called me to the back.

"Welcome Mrs. Rhimes, I see you are here to find out how far a long you are"

"Yes Dr. Jay"

Riz held my hand during us finding out how far a long I was. The doctor gave us time to speak alone

"Girl we are too old for this"

"Don't you think I know. You not the one with the baby. I am. How am I going to tell him anyway?"

"Just tell him" 

After the appointment he took me out to eat and then he dropped me off at Ray office

"Can you tell him for me please?'

"Girl no he not about to try to beat my ass for this"

"Riz come on that's your brother"

"& you his wife. Should of thought of this before you got yourself prengant"

"Fuck you Riz."

"That's how you got in this predicament from fucking"

"Riz I can't stand your ass. Go home to my sis"

"I will when you decide to get out of my car and tell your husband that ya are having another baby."

"What are we going to do with a baby"

"Umm raise it Sasi. Give it to Jaze to raise with her twins. Shit I don't know. Not my child not my responsibility. I wish Nyla would tell me she pregnant. I will definelty let her side dude move in and I will move out"

I started laughing at him. 

"You are a fool. Nyla only has you"

"I know she does but if she turns out pregnant. That's not my baby"

"Thank you big bro. I love you" I leaned kissed his cheek and then I got out the car

I walked in and waited in Ray's office until he had finished up with being in a meeting in the conference room

"What is my lovely wife doing here"

I turned around to see Raymond dressed up in a suit

"Baby please sit down I have to tell you something"

He looked at me and sat down

I went in my bag and got the sonogram. I placed it in front of him

"So another one of our kids are having a baby?"

I shook my head. He picked it up and smiled and got up and hugged and kissed me

I guess we were having this baby

So was it worth it? Yes it was. It was worth all the pain of losing the ones close to me. But it was also worth gaining the ones that are close to me now. I have 4 beautiful children here now and one more on the way. Guess it was worth it
