Turn for the Worse

I woke up feeling amazing. I got up early and got ready. I got all cute and ended up done early. I made may way to internship. I ended up sitting next to Tavey on the bus and train.

I laid my head on his shoulder. There was a girl with her baby sitting in the stroller looking at us. Once I laid my head on his shoulder, the baby started looking at me and making noises. Then she would look at Tavey and smile. Then at me frown, make noise, and point at me.

Tavey found this funny.

"What you did to this baby?" Tavey asked

"I have no clue" As soon as I lifted my head off his shoulder she smiled at me.

"Oh she just mad at me because I'm laying on you"

We both laughed. I put my head back on his shoulder

"I can't wait until I have my little girl. I want her to come first before I have my son. I want to give her the world"

"Wow Tavey, most guys want a boy first. Yea you going to give her the world but she will be bad."

"Yea just so I can teach her everything. To watch her grow and to protect her heart. Nah she will behave and listen to me"

"Yup in your eyes she can't do any wrong. But she will probably only listen to you"

He started to laugh because he knew I was right

The lady got her daughter and as they were leaving she waved at us. We smiled

"Bye sweetie" we both said at the same time

We both got off the next stop and we hugged

This lady walking by looked at us and smiled. We laughed and went our ways.

I thought my day was going well so far and then I walked into internship. My supervisor wasn't in and everyone was busy. So I left.

I got a text from Ma

Ma- get your ass over here

I ended up calling her as I was leaving the building.

"I can be there in about 2 hours Ma"

"That works baby. I just miss you" She said as her voice cracked

"Ma you sure everything is ok. You don't sound ok?"

"Yea I just had something in my throat"

We talked until the train came and then I got off the phone.

I got home maybe 45 minutes later, I changed my clothes and ate. I made my way over to Ma house.

I walked in the house and saw my uncle. I wondered to myself, what is he doing here. Then I saw my grandmother, and Ma but didn't see my dad. I looked at my grandmother and uncle face and knew something was wrong.

"Where is my dad"

They all looked at each other. My uncle started crying. My grandmother ended up breaking down

I looked at them. Ma came over and hugged me

"Baby, there was an accident this morning..."

Ma couldn't finish because I broke down

"No No No! I'm supposed to see him in 2 weeks when I come home. This isn't a nice joke"

Ma tried to rub my back

"He didn't make it. They flew out here to tell you baby"

I ended up passing out.

I woke up in a hospital bed. The only people that were by my side were Nyla, Ray, Jai, and my uncle. Riz was standing by the door

I looked at them and they all started tapping each other.
