Deadlox's POV

He was resting in a cave. The rain was coming down harder than ever, and he was soaked completely. He tried not to look backwards into the cave behind him, knowing what might be lurking there, but it was hard to resist the urge. Every five minutes or so he would whirl around, but unfortunately just to see nothing except for the stone walls fading off into the darkness.

(One hour later)

The rain finally began to clear up. He was nearly dry, and He stood up to go outside and have a look around. He wanted to see if Sky was out there or if they had passed. But as he began to walk towards the entrance, He heard footsteps behind him. He slowly turned around, and scanned the darkness. He saw something, hidden partially by the stone walls. It came out a little more, and he found himself staring into a pair of glowing purple eyes.

The enderman was on top of him before he could blink. It's scream of anger rang in his ears, and he struggled to his feet. But it knocked him over towards the entrance, and he looked up. It was advancing on him, coming closer every second, ready to strike the death-blow...

He didn't even need to think. He got up as fast as he could, and ran out of the entrance of the cave into the darkening night. The enderman was gaining on him, and his hunger was at six bars. His health was only half full, and obviously not regenerating. He put on a burst of speed, and the enderman fell behind for a bit.

But his triumph was short-lived, it teleported directly in front of him, and he skidded to a stop. His headset fell off, and the enderman ran straight at him. He ran a short distance, then paused to look back. Without his headset, how was anyone going to recognize him? If he left it, he might lose it forever. But if he ran back, he would probably be killed.

He made up his mind right as the enderman swung at him. He ducked under the blow and ran in the opposite direction. He prefered life as a wolf for a bit to death. And if anyone found his headset, they might be able to realize out what had happened to him.

He ran under a one block high tree, out of the enderman's reach for now. He watched it's feet moving back and forth, trying to get at him. He laid down, and tried to fall asleep. It wasn't an easy thing to do though, with the enderman's yells of rage and his own heart pounding keeping him up. But somehow he dozed off, wondering what was going to happen to him.
