Wolflox (a Deadlox Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

(two days later)

Sky's POV

"Has anyone seen Deadlox recently?" Sky said.

"No, I thought he was with you!" Dawn replied.

Sky was coming back from a long mining trip, his inventory completely filled with butter ore. Deadlox had gone with him, but after saying that he was going to mine some iron, he had vanished. Sky had searched the cave for hours, calling his name, and then eventually given up. He assumed that he had ran out of the cave after being attacked by skeletons or something, then fled back to the Sky Army base. He was shocked to find out that no one there had seen him.

"So he didn't come back here a few days ago?" Sky asked nervously.

"No, he didn't. You two were supposed to stay together!" Dawn replied.

"It's not my fault! He said that he was going to mine an iron deposit, then he dissapeared a few seconds later!"

"Sky, do you think- do you think it was the squids again?"

"Im not sure. He was kidnapped once, they were bound to try it again. But there wasn't any water nearby."

"Well, we're going to have to do something!"

Sky sat down and began to think. Maybe he fell into lava- no, he would have heard the items burning. He could have gotten lost, but the iron was down a dead end. Sky tried to think of what could have happened to his friend. In the meantime, he put his ore into a couple of furnaces, and took off his armor. Dawn followed behind him the whole time, making suggentions.

"Im telling you, he didn't die, we would have seen the death message. That means he is still alive somewhere. We need to get a search party out, look for him-"

"Dawn, I know what we have to do! Just give me a second to think."

"You've been thinking! Look, I have been kidnapped before, and I-"

"You've never been part of a rescue mission though, have you?"

"Would you stop interrupting me? I just think that you should be putting a better effort into finding him! He is one of your best friends."

"Look Dawn, go talk to Jason. I'm low on health, just give me a few hours to eat something and regenerate hearts, okay?"

"Fine. Just know that each second you put off looking for him, he could be in more danger than he might already be."

And with that, Dawn stormed out of the room, a very frustrated look on her face.
