I don't like people, as I see them as
Inattentive, lackluster, and all the same.
When you come across those who don't like what you like,
Or do what you do, that's pretty lame.
There's talk of being different, reaching out
And being your own person, being unique.
But the people who share my interests,
Those are the ones I seek.
I'm not sure, but I am certain there are people
Who want to be with others, but they stay at home
Believing there's no one like them, and no one to like.
Well I have news for you: You are not alone.
There's always going to be someone like you,
And there's always going to be people like me,
Being the odd one out isn't what matters,
It's what's in common with us that needs to be seen.
