Chapter 2

Brook's P.O.V

Zoe and I got back to my place last night and had a little sleepover. There was cookies, cake, cripes, and music. But we also got all my things unpacked and put in place. We did stay up till the sun started to rise then took naps though, so win lose? I woke up to find frosting and cripes all over my wooden floors, perfect. I raised my head from the cold wood floors only to find I had a sweets hangover.

I looked over at Zoe who was sleeping on the black leather chair in the corner of the room. I slowly got to my feet now feeling how cold the whole place was. I drug my feet across the floors only seceding in sending shivers through my feet from the cold. I made it over to Zoe and threw myself on top of her making he groan and try to push me off. She succeeds and I hit the floor with a loud thump making her jump. I pointed at her and laughed she kicked me in response shutting me up.

I sat up and l started to hit Zoe's legs "zOe" I said in a child's manner. She groaned and swatted my hands away. "Fine I'm going to get food" she stood on two feet rubbing her eyes "I'm up" I started to laugh at her and moved to my bedroom. "Call Joe and see if he wants to come" I yelled from of my bedroom. I sipped on tight blue dress and walked out.

Zoe looked at me and she smiled "When did you get so fit?" she asked laughing. "Ha ha ha so funny Zoe! Hey call Joey for me?" I asked tossing her my white iPhone. I started putting my hair into a high bun as the echo rang though the flat. "Hello?" Joe's low, raspy, morning voice said. "Hey Joey its Brook!" I chirped and we heard a bunch of shuffling "Hey Brooker what's up?” 

"Your sis and I are going to grab some food you in?" I said looking at Zoe who was smacking on gum she got out of my bag. "Um yea I don't see why not!" he said obviously still tired and a bit confused. "Be there in about an hour!" I said hanging up the phone and looking at Zoe. "Go get dressed!" I said clapping my hands and she rolled her eyes.

I waited as Zoe got dressed in some clothes she bought over and did her makeup, which took forever. I never wore the stuff unless it saw a special occasion or something. She finally walked out and she grabbed her keys "Ready!" she chirped walking out the door. I turned out the lights off and grabbed my door key and left.

I jogged to catch up to Zoe who was already starting the car. I jumped in and looked at her "Thanks for waiting" she smiled innocently "Your welcome!” We drove over humming along to the music. We pulled up and Zoe honked the Horn for Joe to come out. We waited about a minute then Joe jogged out. He was wearing a tank top and shorts, they fit him well. I smiled though the glass which he returned.

He got in the back and I turned so I could see him. "Ello Joey!" I said with a smile. He looked stunned but nodded with a smile "Hey Brooker". I looked at Zoe and Joe and I both said "Zoho" which caused Zoe to point her finger in our direction. "Hey now you two don't start" I laughed and looked back a Joe who was on his phone.

I shook it off and went back to the front of the car and turned the music up and sang along. Zoe joined in and Joe started to sing back up. When the song was over we all started to laugh causing me look back at Joe. His face was red and he fist pumping along to the song that was playing.

Joe P.O.V

I was legitimately having a lot of fun just in the car. Usually I would just sit on my phone, but Brook had my attention. After we sang for about three songs we pulled up to a little place. We stepped out and the smell of bacon and maple syrup filled the air. "BACON!" Brook yelled causing Zoe and me to laugh. We walked in and the smell was stronger causing my mouth to water

We were seated in a booth and Brook sat with me on my side. "It's ok I'm not lonely" Zoe said fake crying. Brook put her arm around me pulling me close to her side. My heart raced and I think I started to sweat. She still had the smell of strawberry but this time with a hint of vanilla.

"Me and Joey need time together!" she said flashing me her smile. I nodded and looked at Zoe sticking my tongue. Brook released me and started to laugh. In the middle of her laugh she snorted. She froze and turned red as Zoe pointed and laughed. I could tell she was embarrassed by it so I did what any good friend would do; I started to snort like a pig.

Zoe started to laugh even harder and Brook start to as well. "Very attractive Joe" Zoe said stopping her makeup from running form the tears. I crossed my eyes and made a face "I know I am" and Brook laughed again. He laugh sounded like a song to my ears making me smile.

"Nice face mate" said the waiter who was standing by our table. I nodded clearly embarrassed and started to look at my menu. "What can I get for you beautiful?" he said to Brook causing her to laugh nervously. The whole time he was taking our orders he was flirting with Brook, it truly made me sick.

He walked away but not before winking at Brook. "Could he be more desperate?" Brooks blue eyes scowled at me "What are you saying? I thought he was nice?” I shook my head "He's a creep, I can tell!" I said taking a sip of my water. I could hear her huff but then she looked around and called him back over.

She pulled a pen out of her bag and grabbed his arm. She began to write her phone number on his arm "Call me?" she said capping the pen. He nodded "Will do" I rolled my eyes and focused my eyes at my table. It was quiet for a while due to what just happened.

But luckily the food came and we all had a new focus. We ate with just the sound of crisp bacon and forks tapping the plate. I was about half way thought when I looked over to see Brook was done. "Where did all of that go?" I asked laughing. She smiled "I don't know I just eat it!" causing Zoe to start laughing.

She squinted her eyes and picked up a napkin. She looked at me with a smile "You have food on your face". She said and how could I say no to that smile and those eyes. She started to wipe at the corner of my mouth. I noticed while she was focused she stuck her little pink tongue out the corner of her mouth.

She looked at mouth and smiled again "It's gone". She looked into my eyes and I could tell she was looking for something, but she didn't know what. I sear her eyes were as blue as the sea. "Guys?" we both snapped our head around looking at Zoe. "Wow you guys are weird!" She said trying to fit a whole pancake in her mouth. Brook and I both laughed.

We ate all of our four and I paid like the gentleman I am! As we walked out Brook messed up my hair causing me to try and fix it before someone saw. "Aw look you fixing your hair" she said mocking my actions. I laughed and pushed her to the side. She shoved into a wall and took off down the curb.

I started chase her and we ran past the car. But luckily I was faster and wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her back. She shrieked as I pulled her back and threw her in the car. I sat her in the back with me with Zoe in the front driving. Then my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered out of breath. "Yo it's Mazz! I got a sick party tonight!" I looked over and Brook who was smiling at me. "Um sure! My friend Brook's in town cool if I bring her?" She looked at me confused. "Ya mate!" I smiled "Alright bye" I said hanging up the phone.

"Tonight we're going clubbing!" I said making Zoe clap then return her hand to the wheel. "Um ok..." Book said clearly not a fan of the idea. "Well you don't have-" "No I want to go!" she said cutting me off with smile. "Then it's settled we are going clubbing!" I said making Zoe do a little dance and Brook laugh.
