Sydney's POV

I skated down the sidewalk avoiding people trying to think about everything.

I skated by the park and thought about stopping but realized that's the first place the boys are going to look for me.

I continued to skate alone just thinking.

I came across a fenced in basketball court and figured I was far enough away from the hotel that I should be okay for a while.

I needed a way to blow off some steam and basketball was the perfect thing.

I opened the gate door and headed to the far side of the court grabbing a basketball off the ground by the bench where I put my penny board down.

I started shooting and cleared my mind.

••••••••••••

It's been an hour and a half and I'm feeling less stressed.

I decided to head back to the hotel, the boys are probably nervous.

I started to skate back when I felt my phone vibrate.

I turned it on and noticed that I had tons of texts and missed calls from all the boys.. Oops..

I ignored them and looked at the Twitter update.

It was Will again.

I noticed that he was in the hospital that was a few blocks away. I quickly changed directions and headed straight to the hospital.

I called Matt since he was the only one who I really wanted to talk to, I need him right now.

S- Sydney M-Matt

S- hey, please don't make a big deal about me calling, just act normal. I'm okay but I need to go see him.

M- what are you talking about?

S- will, I have to go see him, I need to know he's okay Matt.

M- okay, I will meet you there and the guys won't know I promise

S- thanks Matty

M- anything for you baby girl love you and see you soon

S- love you too bye

I hung up and continued to the hospital. Once I got there I picked up my penny board and walked into the lobby, I saw Will's new girlfriend who I've met once but when they were only friends and it's been awhile so I decided to just sit off to the side.

"Sydney is that you?" I heard a voice ask

I looked over and saw Emily waving (Will's girlfriend).

I smiled and walked over and sat next to her hugging her.

"Is he okay?" I asked trying not to stutter

"He has internal bleeding in his head and at first it wasn't a threat but it hasn't gone down and there's more. The doctors said that they're giving him one more day to have the blood go down but if it doesn't he has to go into immediate surgery that's really dangerous. But without surgery.. He'll die within a week." She said

I started crying and she hugged me again, not really knowing what to do.

"Can I go see him?" I asked once I collected myself somewhat

"Yeah of course! He's in room 357. If you need me at all don't be afraid to ask sweetie." She said giving me one last hug before I got up and went to Will's room
