Chapter 33

Sydney's POV

I woke up to my phone buzzing as I was getting a call. I sat up and realized I was still on Cam's couch and I was the last one in the room.

I grabbed my phone and saw it was Emily.

E- Emily S- Sydney

E- I'm so happy you answered, sorry if I woke you
S- no no it's fine! What's up?
E- it's Will.. He's going into surgery in an hour.

She said softly and I started to cry.

S- I'll be there in 20
E- okay hang in there sweetie
S- thanks

I hung up and ran into my room where the rest of the guys are.

I broke down in another set of tears and Hayes ran over hugging me

"What's wrong?" He asked scared

"W- Will h-h-has to g-go in-i-into s-surg- surgery in an h-hour." I said between tears

He hugged me tighter.

"Alright Hayes and Sydney get dressed now and if anyone else wants to come get ready, we're leaving here in 5." Nash said getting up and going to his bag grabbing clothes and going to the bathroom.

Hayes let go of me and all the guys quickly left the room to go get ready.

I went to my bag and changed into my Florida Gators sweatshirt with my black leggings and I put on my black Bear Paw boots then put my hair in a high ponytail and a black bandana.

I was finished and Hayes was just finishing getting ready as well.

I grabbed my phone and we all headed down to the lobby where we saw all the guys already waiting.

We got into our 4 cars and headed to the hospital.

We arrived and I practically ran out of the car and into the hospital.

I got into the waiting room and saw Emily immediately hugging her.

The guys came in after me and I introduced them all to Emily.

"Are we allowed to go see him before the surgery?" I asked

She nodded "it has to be 3 at a time though" she added

Me Nash and Hayes all went into his room and I saw him laying in the bed just staring at the wall with teary eyes.

I ran over and hugged him tightly not wanting to let go.

Eventually I did and Nash and Hayes both hugged him as well.

I started crying again as Will told us about the surgery.

"It's okay buggsie, I'm gonna be okay." He said signaling for me to come over to him where he hugged me again.

A doctor then came in and asked to talk to me Nash and Hayes.

We went into the hallway and he looked sad.. That's never a good sign.

"I'm sorry but your brother only has a 25% chance of getting through this surgery but it's the best chance he has." He said

I broke down.

I started crying and shaking and hyperventilating and it was getting hard to breathe.

I turned and ran outside sitting on a bench in the front of the hospital.

Hayes' POV

The doctor told us the news about Will and I started crying. I then noticed Sydney was shaking and hyperventilating. She turned and ran outside.
