Chapter 56

Cam's POV

I was so nervous. I was actually taking Shelby out on a date.

We pulled out of her driveway and my hands were slightly shaking on the steering wheel.

I heard her giggle to herself and I glanced at her to see her already looking at me.

"A little nervous?" She asked smiling

I smiled back God her smile is perfect and her laugh is perfect and she's just perfect.

I can't screw this up.

"A little..." I trailed off chuckling

She giggled again "no need to I am too, more than you know" she said the last part quietly and looked away then back at me

"You don't seem it" I said back curious

"I guess I'm just good at hiding it." She said slightly laughing

The rest of the car ride my nerves calmed down and we talked about the stupidest things, I mean we literally got on the topic of how stupid sporks are... But she's really sweet and funny and her laugh and smile is contagious.

We finally reached the indoor waterpark and I parked the car then we got out and I had her close her eyes as I guided her inside.

"Okay open." I said

She opened her eyes and looked around as her jaw dropped. *picture at top is what it looks like*

"Oh my god Cam!" She said with a big smile

"Where do you want to start?" I asked smiling back at her

She looked around again then started shaking her head "I don't even know! I want to start with everything!"

I chuckled then we headed over to where the lockers were and put our bags in then took the clothes we had on over our swimsuits off and put them in the locker as well with our phones then we locked it.

I turned around to face Shelby and I must've been staring at her because she started to giggle and blush as she looked at the ground. But she looked amazing.

I walked over to her and smiled then put my arm over her shoulder.

"Alright let the fun begin" I said and we started walking towards the main pool thing.

We were walking around talking and finally decided to go in the water.

It was a little cold at first but it warmed up.

Shelby only had her feet in and I was tempted to pull her in but I had a better idea.

"Hey Shelby why don't we go see what's over here." I said and she nodded following me.

We went over to where there was a big bucket thing that was full of water and tips the water down every few seconds.

We stood underneath it and she never realized until I stepped away and she looked up right before she was covered in water.
