Little acts of romance.  Movie acts of love.   When we first started dating, we would send long messages.  You'd send them after I fell asleep so that I could read it first thing in the morning.  I wake before you, so if you fell asleep, you'd wake up early, just to make sure I had a good start.  We'd have phone calls where you would whisper "I ship you", or the occasional, "I love you" on the other end, until I fell asleep; now we Skype till one or both of us fall asleep and the call drops.  I wrote a letter to you everyday of camp, and sent them all at once, with a polaroid of me in your clothes attached to one of the letters.  I met you at the airport--late as usual--with a sign just for you.  At the end of the summer, you surprised me at the airport--early as usual--hiding behind the pillar while my dad hugged me first.  Buying each other the most expensive gifts we knew the other was too scared to ask for.  Weekend boat trips.  Motorcycle rides--and terrifying lessons.  Meeting each others friends.  Drunk calls.  Surprising talks about our future.  Watching Netflix shows together.  Being at each others school functions.  Watching each others performances.  Breakfast with your mum.  Feeding the poor with my family.  Dinner with your dad.  Drives with mine.  Beach sunsets.  Hammock naps.  Having the same favorite bands.  Matching (semi) Halloween costumes.  Dancing together.  Watching the lightening storm from the lookout.  We have a pretty great thing going.  Every once in a while, the earlier things would be nice to have a reoccurrence, but for the most part, I'd say our relationship is aging well, and we're growing together to be stronger.  8 months has come in a blink of an eye with it's ups and downs.  4 more months till a year.  Let the adventures continue.

Love you forever,

~~Kit
