Dear Future Husband,

The first thing you should know about me is that I'm a girl who loves the simple things in life. After you understand that, I'm a pretty easy going girl. So what do I deem the "simple things in life"?

Flowers. Bring me flowers. I don't have a favorite; I've tried to choose, but flowers are flowers. How can someone choose one of something so different and beautiful? As long as no one has added colors to them, I'll love them. I'd love to be surprised with a bouquet on my birthday, an anniversary, Valentines Day, or whenever I'm sick; or, really, whenever.

Chocolates. I. LOVE. Chocolate. Whether it comes in a box, a bag, the check-out lanes, I'll be over the moon. I don't care if it's milk, dark, or what, so long as it isn't white. I deem white chocolate as vanilla; fake.

Potatoes. Please be aware that potatoes are life. I once ordered mashed potatoes and french fries. At dinner, don't ask what kind of potatoes I want! I won't be able to decide. The only potatoes I don't like is dirty mash or potato salad. I love garlic so go ahead and make my mash with some garlic powder. But, I can't stand onions. Or mushrooms. My mom loves onions, and my dad loves mushrooms, save those for them.

I'm terrible at cooking. Most likely, for the safety of all, you'll want to cook. But I make a mean brownie. And chocolate chip cookies...and flan. How about you make dinner, I'll make dessert! Also when it comes to food, I'm very picky. Don't be surprised if I choose from the kids meal and end up with chicken tenders. But my favorite food is chicken farm...or steak...but I hate fat, so my steak always looks tiny by the time I eat it. I hate fish. Except canned tuna. Did I mention I don't particularly like onions or mushrooms? ...oh...and I don't like pizza...sorry.

Animals are life! If I could, I'd adopt 'em all! Except for anything creepy crawly or that slithers. You know those jokes where a wife goes out for milk, and instead brings home a pet? Yeah...so not a joke when it comes to me. What can I say? They were just SO fluffy!

When you're actually thinking of marriage, please remember the word simple. I want a diamond, but I don't want it flashy. Something small. My dress could go either way. I may have simple elegance, or Princess elegance. It really could go either way. I do want you to ask my father, though. It just seems right. Don't think of it as asking permission, think of it as asking for his blessing. I don't want to be married in a church. Or a beach. I have, however, always dreamed of a forrest wedding. I don't care the size. We could elope or have a giant guest list. I love whichever you decide. Our honeymoon doesn't have to be giant, either. We could be on a cruise, or the mountains, or even just at our home. So long as we're together.

As you can probably tell, I'm a writer. At this point in life, I don't know what I'll do; but I know I want to write. Whether, I'm writing for a magazine, or in a new novel, I want to be writing. Don't let me ever forget that.

I want children. I don't care if I adopt or have them, or both! I. Want. Children. And I know you'll be a great dad. 'Cause we're a team.

Eventually I'll want to own my own bookshop/café thing. It'll own the textbooks for whatever college we live near so that students can study with lots of coffee. Hopefully my own book will be in the bookshop. There will also be open mic so that people can let their creativity flow. Help me get there.

I want to do lots of traveling. Before kids, after kids, lets travel the world. There's too much out there to see to just stay at home and see it on TV or Facebook. Lets experience it.

Be trustworthy. That's my most important rule. Always tell me the truth. Before and after marriage. If I catch you at any point doing something untrustworthy, my trust will dissipate and you'll have to start all over again.

There's so much I could say in this one letter, but I'll tell you this to try and wrap it up. Love me unconditionally, and tell me often of your love, and I'll love you back more than you can imagine. I am a ride or die. I'll help you achieve anything, ride with me, too. I'll give you massages after work, make you laugh whenever I can, give you gifts when you least expect it. All I ask in return is your honesty and love.

Please, don't waste my time if you're too scared to stick around. I've been hurt before.

Love always,

Kit
