As everyone evacuated the building which Brenda showed them how to navigate around, Savanna became frightened of what was happening. Though it wasn't for her. It was for Henry, and she knew he felt the same fright for her. All the sudden she felt like giving up, but as Henry put a reassuring hand on her shoulder, she went on. She would run until safety, even if she died before hand. It was the thought that counted, right?
Henry was scared, but he hoped Lucky wouldn't see it. He felt he needed to be brave, be the bigger bother. She needed that, and she was counting on him to get them out of this mess. Henry knew that she was mad at him, even if she was to kind to admit it. He knew that she would stick by him till there last breaths. It felt reassuring, and scary for some reason. In that moment he felt like h needed to tell her that he would always be there for her, no matter what. That he loved her to the moon and stars and back again. It may be as a friend, but maybe more, he was confused about it, or as he and Lucky liked to call it, Confuddled. In that moment he realized how much she mean to him, and if they died they would die together, hopefully.
Savanna would die for Henry. She loved him, if only as a friend. He looked like he was thinking. So she urged him on, telling him he couldn't stop. Then she heard low moans, and turned to see that Brenda was the person doing it. They ran blindly, since Brenda was the only one who knew the way through these tunnels, turning wildly, but somehow in sync with Henry. They ran until they saw a big red door, so they opened it. And saw the world, it wasn't just a mess.
It was destroyed.
