~24. Have every single chapter planned from now till the end. Which is a rather scary thought. My first wattpad story could be completed soon.
but here is your update.
Song Of The Day; All Time Low - Dear Maria, Count Me In ♥♥♥♥
ENJOYYYYYY!!!
My eyes widened and my arms dropped from around her as she exploded into tears. I couldn’t move.
Alex had slept with her. And got her pregnant.
I knew they had. I mean, who doesn’t in a relationship? I just. That had hit me like a ton of bricks. They’d created a child together.
Pregnant. At 16. How is she going to cope?
How are they going to cope?
What is Alex going to say?
“Charlotte?” Kayla whispered. I spluttered and coughed.
“How long?” I asked.
“I only missed my period once, so I don’t think long. I’m not even sure I am. I need you to buy a pregnancy test.”
“Me? Why me? I’m not the pregnant one?” She winced.”Shit, sorry Kay.”
“It’s fine.” Her bottom lip quivered.
“no it’s not. I’m so sorry, Kayla.” She started sobbing into my shoulder. “We’ll go to Wal-Mart. We’ll get one. It’ll all be fine, ok?”
“ok.” Her voice was shaky and raspy, tears still dripping down her face. If only I could burst into tears too…
Half an hour later and I found myself at Wal-Mart, staring at the rows of pregnancy tests, ovulation counters and condoms. The things I do for this girl. Even as I looked at the prices and observed the statistics on the back of the boxes, judging the tests accuracy, my head span and colors blazed together, the words mixing up before my eyes. I felt numb and stupid. I sighed and counted the wad of notes in my pocket. I had around $150 of mine and Kayla’s combined cash, so I grabbed a couple of the higher priced tests and made my way to the checkouts in a daze. I wanted to get out and get this whole freaky nightmare behind me.
I picked the one at the very end of the line, where no one was waiting, seeing as it was kinda late and everyone was rushing. There were less people to see and that was why I walked all the way to the other end of the store for it. But, as always, just to show how unlucky I was, I ended up with an checkout attendee from the school.
Even worse, it just so happened to be Leah.
Matt’s new girlfriend. Or fuck buddy or whatever she was.
I didn’t notice her until she swiped the first test and smirked at me. “Charlotte?”
I’d been counting out notes again and the sound of her voice had me looking up, “Oh my god. Are you like pregnant? Is it Matt’s, huh? Fuck. He’ll love to hear about this.”
As always, Leah had her eyes on the gossip factor.
I winced. I can’t exactly say they’re for a friend, she’ll just assume they’re mine anyway. But if she told Matt…
Sighing again, wondering how I got into this mess and trying to come up with simething that Kayla would owe me for this I decided I could cross that bridge if it came. Right now, Kayla and her supposed pregnancy was more important. So, I didn’t answer her, just gave her the money and swiped the tests into a bag, ignoring her sneers as I walked out and met Kayla outside.
