My eyes slowly opened to the surroundings of my room. I slowly sat up and stretched my arms out. I've spent the past several days at my parents house. I felt a little home sick, I guess. Jason didn't have a problem with it. He understood perfectly. I slid out of bed and walked downstairs. I looked at the time on the wall clock in the kitchen. 9:25am. Perfect timing to me.
I walked to the kitchen table where my mom was sitting with my dad while she did her work on the computer. I was a bit surprised to see my dad sitting there. He's normally at work and doesn't come home until 4pm. "Hey," I said quietly still half asleep. "Hi sweetheart, why don't you have a seat." My mom said pulling out a chair for me. I raised an eyebrow and hesitantly sat down.
"We wanted to talk to you about something." My dad started. "Okay, shoot." I smiled. "We were thinking about visiting the family in California. For a month." I nodded slowly. "Not only for the family but for you." "For me?!" I asked getting a little mad. I mean is this an intervention or something? "Yes for you. All you do is hang around with Jason. And I'm not saying it's a bad thing, we just want you to be around family." I thought about it.
"So this doesn't have to do anything with Jason." "Oh no, no, no. You know we love Jason. We just want a little family time. You've had time with Jason. Now we want you to spend time with family." My mom smiled reassuringly. I nodded. I smiled small. "Alright. When do we leave?" "Tonight at 7." My mom said. I sighed. "Can I at least spend the day with Jason?" I pouted. She smiled at me and nodded.
"Of course sweetie." She kissed the top of my head and jogged upstairs. I packed my suitcase by pretty much ripping off all my clothes off their hangers. I put my hands on my hips and looked at the bag. "I think I'm good." I changed into a pair of faded blue short shorts and a loose pink tank top. I walked downstairs and put on a pair of flip flops and walked to my car with the keys in my hand.
I hoped in turning the AC on right away. I pulled out of the driveway and headed to Jason's house. I was afraid to break the news to him. Jason would always say he would be afraid to be alone even with the guys around. He's gonna have to learn how to be alone for awhile.
After about 10 minutes, I pulled into Jason's driveway and hopped out of the car. I walked to the front door and knocked. I stood there for a mere few seconds before the door opened to a shirtless Jason wearing sweatpants and bed head. "Hi," I shyly smiled, looking up at him. "Hey I wasn't expecting you at.." He looked back in the house for a time. "At 9:45 in the morning." He laughed. "Well I technically didn't expect you do." I looked down at my feet. "I kinda have to tell you something...important."
He raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Alright, come inside." He said grabbing my hand. We walked into the house and he closed the door behind us. "So what did you have to tell me?" He asked. "Well um, my parents decided to visit my family in California. They're gonna be there for a month." "Yeah?" Jason said. "And I'm gonna go to California with them...for a month." I said, trying to make everything clear to him. "Wait. You're leaving?" He said looking hurt.
"Jason it's only for a month. I have a family, and I haven't seen them." I said looking down, afraid to see and hear his reaction. "But babe..." "But nothing, Jason." I said, cutting him off. I looked taken back. I sighed deeply. "Jason, all I came here for...was to spend my last day with you." I spoke. "Last day?" He asked, raising his voice more. "Yes Jason. I leave tonight at 7." I said sitting down on the couch.
He sat next to me. "But what am I going to do without you babe?" He asked. I looked in his honey brown eyes. He laid his head on my shoulder. "You'll be fine without me. I promise Jas." I said kissing the top of his head. He looked me in the eyes and placed his lips into mine, his lips moving softly and passionately. He slowly pushed my down on the couch until my back laid all the way down. His hand went up underneath my shirt.
"Jason no..." I started. "Baby, the guys aren't here." He mumbled on my neck, me being able to feel his hot breath. "No seriously." I said so I faced him. "I don't want to have sex and then I leave for a month." "I'm sorry baby." He said pecking my lips. "I just wanted to make sure you knew I loved you." He smiled.
"I know you love me. You only say it everyday. And I love you more." I giggled. "So may I have the permission to take you out on a nice lunch date?" "Yes you may." I laughed.
